Hulu has revealed a first look at the upcoming second season of Reasonable Doubt. Jax Stewart’s highly anticipated return is on August 22 with two episodes. New episodes will stream on Thursdays on Hulu.
After trying to heal from her wounds from last season’s arduous trial and deadly affair, Jax Stewart is attempting to get her life back on track. That is until one of her closest friends reveals that she has killed her husband.
Her friend is claiming self-defense, but an uncompromising prosecutor thinks otherwise. Needing all the help she can get, Jax brings in an ambitious defense attorney to lead the case, but things get tense very quickly.
Can Jax defend her friend, save her marriage, and protect her energy while being catapulted into the biggest case of her career? Or will she lose it all?
Reasonable Doubt was created, written, and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed.

ABC has given a late pilot order to a single-camera pilot starring actress/singer Mandy Moore, which will be directed by Shawn Levy. The project, written by Bob Fisher and Stacy Traub, centers on newlyweds Annie (Moore) and Ben who get the opportunity of a lifetime to run a hip, new restaurant in Annie’s hometown bringing her closer to her needy and high maintenance family. 20th Century Fox TV is producing with Shawn Levy and Marty Adelstein’s studio-based banner. In addition to directing, Levy is executive producing the project with Adelstein and Becky Clements. Moore’s manager John Leshay will serve as a producer. The untitled comedy, which landed at ABC in October with a put pilot commitment, was one of very few projects still in contention at ABC, which is wrapping up its pilot orders. Mandy Moore Coming Back to TV in Us And Them
Actress and singer Mandy Moore is making her way back to TV in a new sitcom for ABC called Us and Them. Moore has done plenty of guest starring roles (the most recent of which was on fellow ABC series, Grey’s Anatomy), but this is her first time in a major starring role. Us and Them is a single-camera family comedy about the conflicts between the family you grow up with and the family you make as an adult. I can definitely see the humor in the premise (from my own personal experience), but I can also see many opportunities for a show like this to take a walk on a more serious side.

Mandy Moore has a four-for-four record of being awesome in guest-starring TV roles, so it makes sense that the adorable singer-turned-actress has gone and booked herself the lead role in a new ABC pilot.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Moore will co-star in "Us and Them," a comedy about "the inherent conflict that exists between the families you grow up in and the ones we make as adults." The 27-year-old will play Annie, a newlywed, and the show will be told from the perspective of Annie and her as-yet-uncast husband, Ben.
Writer Bob Fisher will co-executive produce alongside director Shawn Levy ("Night at the Museum"), Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements (21 Laps/Adelstein), while Jon Leshay, who has worked with Moore as music supervisor on movies like "Saved," "How to Deal" and "A Walk to Remember," will produce.
