Garth Hewitt is originally from Toronto, Canada. He has studied acting
at RADA, The Second City, the Professional Actors Lab and the Tom
Todoroff Studio. Garth recently completed the film Independent Living
for the Bravo! Network. He has appeared in the television series
Missing (1-800-Missing) for the Lifetime Network and 72 Hours - True
Crime for the CBC. He had a small role as Desperate Dan (a mock 'Girls
Gone Wild' producer) in the Paramount Pictures film The Prince and Me
with Julia Stiles. Garth has produced and directed three short films.
Garth's short film Behind the Scenes was distributed by the CFMDC. He
also directed and hosted the documentary film Canada - A documentary.
Onstage, Garth appeared at the George Bernard Shaw Theatre in London,
England, and at the Bleecker St. Theatre in New York in William
Shakespeare's Measure for Measure, directed by Nona Shepphard. He has
also done several voices for animation projects including Kevin
Richardson of the Backstreet Boys in The Backstreet Project, created by
Stan Lee and Nick Carter as well as several characters on the
children's animated series Sailor Moon, broadcast on The Cartoon
Network and YTV. Garth's work in commercials includes campaigns for:
Nintendo, Pepsi-Cola, Hershey's Oh-Henry, and Pizza Pizza. Garth is a
member of SAG, AEA & ACTRA.
