This article contains major spoilers for "The Killer."How often do you think about your job? In terms of your daily duties, upcoming deadlines on your calendar, and other day-to-day issues, probably a fair amount. Yet how often do you consider your job — not just as a checklist but as a vocation — as something you're putting out into the world, as something that defines who you are as a person?
As the imaginary demon of toxic masculinity, Tyler Durden, famously says in David Fincher's "Fight Club," "You are not your job." Of course, Tyler is not to be trusted, and "Fight Club," like a majority of Fincher's filmography, is a pitch-black satire. What if you are your job, and what if your contribution to the world is both minimal and actively negative? What if your job, and all jobs, were this destructively banal, and everyone from sanitation staff...

Whether as an actor, stuntman, or director, David Leitch has been the architect behind some of the most captivating recent fight scenes in film. His catalog of work spans some of the biggest action movies of the last twenty years, including the last two films in "The Matrix Trilogy," "300," and "Deadpool 2."Although it was in Leitch's directorial debut, "John Wick," where he developed his signature for boldly executed action sequences that both captivate and drive the plot forward, he perfected his process on his second project, "Atomic Blonde."
One scene stands out in particular: the brutal 10-minute stairwell fight Charlize Theron's character, MI6 agent Lorraine Broughton, engages in near the end of the film. Inspired by the stitched-together long takes of Alfonso Cuarón's "Children of Men," Leitch admitted in a GQ interview he'd long had the idea to do something similar, but had never been able to implement it.

"In The Third Man, there's no one getting kicked in the face."
Director David Leitch isn't saying the classic post-war thriller suffers from lacking a critical face-kicking element – but let's just say his new movie takes full advantage of that missed opportunity. Set in East and West Germany in the winter of 1989 – the moment in which the Berlin Wall finally came down – Atomic Blonde sounds on paper like a John le Carré novel, pitting weary spies against each in pursuit of a list that could leave them all exposed. The former stuntman-turned-filmmaker,...

It’s one of the most stunning seven minutes of filmed action in years. Undercover MI6 agent Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron) enters an apartment building to find and stop the snipers making it impossible to sneak her asset, Spyglass (Eddie Marsan), out of East Berlin. In one long take — or at least what would appear to be one — she fights a series of well-trained assassins, using both hand-to-hand combat and her gun in a scene that is both viscerally exciting and edge-of-your-seat thrilling.

Stunts and sequel potential were the hottest topics at Atomic Blonde's Los Angeles premiere Monday night.
In the action film based on the graphic novel The Coldest City, its star Charlize Theron was tasked with a slew of stunts. Lucky for her, the film's director David Leitch first started out in the stunt world, and along with the film's stunt coordinator Sam Hargrave and Theron's stunt double Monique Ganderton, everything went off without a hitch.

Last Week’S Review: Review: ‘UnREAL’ Takes Aim at Confederate Flag Controversy
This Week on ‘UnREAL’…
It was all about the production in the third episode of “UnREAL.” Upset over their new boss’ inexperience (/existence), Rachel (Shiri Appleby) and Quinn (Constance Zimmer) put on a producing tutorial for trust fund kid Coleman Wasserman (Michael Rady): Quinn, proving yet again how unwilling she is to give up her hands-on role in “Everlasting,” recruited two contestants and pitted them against each other.
The result was better than she could have hoped for — at first. Brandi (Monique Ganderton) took things into her own hands at the obstacle course, chucking Chantal (Meagan Tandy) off a climbing wall. She still won the date, though, and Quinn coached her into confessing her darkest secrets from a rough adolescence…then, she told Darius it was all lies, in order to get the psychologically damaged contestant to snap.

The Cabin in the Woods Trailer. Drew Goddard‘s The Cabin in the Woods (2012) movie trailer stars Chris Hemsworth, Jesse Williams, Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison, and Fran Kranz. The Cabin in the Woods‘ plot synopsis: “A group of five friends going on a quiet cabin retreat scratch the surface of something so massive and horrific that they can only begin to fathom what might possibly be going on just as time quickly runs out.”
This looks very interesting but they gave up some big surprises, big surprises. All the tech aspects should have been left out in my opinion.

For a few years now, there has been no small amount of mystery surrounding The Cabin in the Woods, the horror film directed by Cloverfield screenwriter Drew Goddard and co-written by Goddard and Joss Whedon. At one point you could find a...

Set to hit theaters around the globe at the stroke of midnight, "Twilight" mania has taken over the movie world.
With the third installment of the hit vampire series opening in a record number of theaters - 4,416 screens - there's definitely the expectation of Huge earnings for the Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner led film.
Stirring up a little relationship talk prior to the release, producer Wyck Godfrey recently spoke with Time magazine of the Kristen/Robert off-screen chatter.
Of the real-life romance, Godfrey tells, "I honestly don’t think of it in terms of business. It doesn’t affect our core business at all. The thing I do think about is, Oh my God, I hope they stay together. Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out. It’s like, Wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies.

Columbia Pictures and Ghost House Pictures’ sequel to David Slade’s 2007 vampire movie “30 Days of Night” have commenced shooting as we speak, which means a lot of the cast are already in place, though oddly enough, still no word if another actress will be taking over Melissa George’s role from the first movie. In lieu of that, here are some notable casting news, including Mia Kirshner (left) as the lead vampire/villain of the piece, Lillith. Kirshner is no stranger to gothic/dark comic book movie sequels, having starred in “The Crow: City of Angels”, though she hasn’t had a major role in a while, with the last one being Brian De Palma’s “The Black Dahlia” in 2006. Other members of the cast include two former “Lost” castaways Harold Perrineau (also in “28 Weeks Later”) and Kiele Sanchez (recently in “A Perfect Getaway”). Also along for the ride are model-turned-actress Diora Baird,...
