Ravi Guru Singh (Ravieshwar Singh) is an writer, producer, actor and digital fashion designer based in Brooklyn, New York. The live-action narrative short film he wrote, produced and acted in, "The Invite" had its first screening at the first-ever South Asia House hosted by South by Southwest in 2023 and premiered in LA at 2023 Micheax Film Festival. He debuted as the lead actor in the full-length feature documentary "Terrible Children" in 2022, which world premiered at the Cleveland International Film Festival. He wrote and produced the SeriesFest award-winning animated short, "Doing the Robot" in 2021. He appeared on Indian Matchmaking on Netflix in 2020, directed by Oscar- and Emmy-nominated Smriti Mundhra, and he wrote about it in a personal piece for the Huffington Post. His legal writings have appeared in law360 and the New York Law Journal in 2022. His Indian digital fashion collectibles were featured in the Times of India and the Hindu. He was previously an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and was a New York City Urban Fellow in the Administration of Mayor Michael Bloomberg. He graduated from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and Vanderbilt University as a recipient of Posse Foundation full-tuition scholarships. He was born and raised in Brooklyn and raised by a single mom from Trinidad and Guyana.
