David Tennant and Anna Gunn are seen as Detectives Emmett Carver and Ellie Miller in the first image from Fox's Gracepoint.
Tennant - who appeared in the original ITV series - will play an American version of his character, alongside Breaking Bad's Gunn.
The ten-part mystery drama - set to air in the Us in late 2014 or early 2015 - also stars Nick Nolte, Michael Peña and Jacki Weaver.
The remake recently lost one of its stars, Georgina Rylance, who exited the Fox series for creative reasons. The English actress previously signed up to play flirtatious hotel owner Gemma, but the role will now be recast.

Jeffrey Wright will voice the villain in Lawrence Guterman's animated feature "Bremen Town Musicians," a reimagining of the Russian folktale and Brothers Grimm story which Luxor Entertainment is producing.
The comic romance is set in 1713, with the King of Bremen demanding that his incompetent wizard search across space and time for the greatest musical troupe ever to perform at his daughter's wedding. Wright plays the narcissistic, power-hungry future son-in-law to the King. [Source: Heat Vision]

Gregg Henry has been promoted to a regular for the fourth and final season of The Killing on Netflix. He will reprise his role as Detective Carl Reddick, which he originated as a recurring last season, appearing in 10 of the 12 episodes from Season 3 on AMC. Henry, repped by Domain, also recurred on ABC’s Scandal and will be seen in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy. British actress Sarah-Jane Potts (Felicity) has joined Fox’s 10-hour event series Gracepoint, a remake of the UK’s Broadchurch. Her role Gemma, a flirty woman who owns the town’s hotel where Detective Emmett Carver (David Tennant) is staying, is being recast… Rachel Brosnahan was recently added to the cast of Wgn America’s 13-episode drama series Manhattan, from Skydance Productions. Set during the clandestine mission to build the world’s first atomic bomb in Los Alamos, Nm, Manhattan follows the brilliant but flawed scientists and their families. Brosnahan, repped by Carole Dibo Talent Management and Innovative, will play the wife of one of the scientists (Ashley Zukerman).

"Pulse 2: Afterlife", a direct-to-video sequel to "Pulse", is just around the corner as it is scheduled to be outed in DVD on September 30, 2008. To be distributed by Dimension Extreme, the horror thriller movie picks up its sequel story right where the first film left off.
In the follow-up film, it will be seen that the world has been changed forever by the invading ghosts coming via wireless Internet. Mankind is on the brink of extinction, many cities are now deserted by its citizen and technology involving anything electrical has been destroyed to stop the spirits from taking over the world. When all hope seem to be lost, two divorced parents are forced to go inside this chaotic world to find their missing daughter.
Giving a preview to how the terror comes to be this time, a series of images from the Phil Joanou-scripted film has also been put forward.
