Last month saw the arrival of Brad Anderson's ('The Machinist') new phone call thriller 'The Call', starring Halle Berry ('Monster's Ball') and Abigail Breslin ('Zombieland'), in theatres across the Us. So what a kick in the teeth it is to hear that the movie is already being lined up for a stateside home release before us UK-ers have even had a chance to check it out! Michael Eklund ('The Divide'), Justina Machado, Tara Platt, Evie Thompson, David Otunga, Michael Imperioli, Morris Chestnut and Michael Linstroth also star in the thriller that sees a 911 operator dealing with an emergency call taken from a kidnapped teenager. It hits Blu-ray and DVD to own and rent from 25 June if you so appen to live in the Us. And still no word on any form of release here in the UK. Boooooo!...
