Callum Chiplin is an English actor, writer, and award-winning filmmaker, born on the 17th of February, 1996. He trained at Guildford School of Acting, and is fully qualified in Performance Capture and Motion Capture, specialising in movement and creature work, with weapons, stunts, and firearms as a base. He trained for The British Stunt Register to become a qualified stunt performer, before choosing to pursue acting as a career.
His work spans across 12 years of experience in commercials, film, and television, whilst writing an array of different pieces, reviewing indie films, cinematic art projects, and composing original contemporary articles. His writing includes critiquing prolific Netflix and Amazon Prime Series and Hollywood Movies for prominent magazines in England and America.
Callum's first company short film - "Soul Brothers", in which he acted, directed, filmed, and produced, achieved 5 official global festival selections and was nominated for 5 awards. It was screened at KIFF Kingston International Film Festival led by BAFTA award-winning director and producer - Mike Newell, and chosen as a finalist in Lit Laughs International Comedy Festival.
Callum's second company short film - "HAGS", in which he acted, produced, and performed stunts for, recently won the award for Best International Short Film whilst nominated for 2 other awards at separate festivals. The piece currently holds 12 Official Laurels.
