Timothee Chalamet’s second turn as guest host of Saturday Night Live gives us not one, but two recurring characters from his first stint on the show. One is a bonkers expansion of the Tiny Horse Cinematic Universe and the other is the return of the most successful hip hop artist of all time: SmokeCheddaDaAssGetta.
As every good Chalamaniac knows, Chalamet went under the moniker Li’l Timmy Tim during his high school career as a rapper. That early love of hip hop led to an SNL sketch back in 2020 with Pete Davidson where he plays a SoundCloud rapper named SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta.

Two years ago, Timothée Chalamet and Pete Davidson went viral for their Saturday Night Live sketch portraying a pair of clueless SoundCloud rappers — Smoke Chedda Tha A$$ Getta and Guap Lord, respectively — otherwise known as Xan Mob, who perform their unbearable song “Yeet” during the show “Rap Roundtable” hosted by Ego Nwodim.
And, with Davidson no longer part of the SNL cast, Chalamet’s rapper returned for a “Rap Roundtable” panel honoring the 50th anniversary of hip hop that also included Mary J. Blige (Punkie Johnson), Rick Rubin (James Austin Johnson), and Dr.

For the D’Amelio family, a lot has happened in the past 12 months.
Last year, mother Heidi D’Amelio and her younger daughter Charli D’Amelio competed on Dancing With The Stars, with Charli becoming the first TikTok creator to win the ABC competition series. The whole family, including father Marc D’Amelio and older daughter Dixie D’Amelio, worked together to launch their own footwear brand. There was even a time when it looked like Marc would buy TikTok to save it from a U.S. ban.
So yeah, this internet-famous family has a few things going on. If you’re struggling to keep up with all the news coming out of the D’Amelio household, their Hulu series will be able to fill you in. Season three of The D’Amelio Show will explore the titular family’s interpersonal dynamics, busy schedules, and romantic relationships when it premiers on September 20.

Turns out Marc D’Amelio isn’t buying TikTok after all.

Back in March, the father of TikTok stars Charli and Dixie D’Amelio said that, due to TikTok’s continuing struggles with the U.S. government over its Beijing-based owner, ByteDance, he would put together a group of (presumably American) investors for a joint bid to buy the platform.
But those plans have fizzled, D’Amelio said onstage The Information’s Creator Economy Summit this week.
“It’s very expensive,” D’Amelio told Information reporter Kaya Yurieff. He went on to say that the family has “raised a lot of money for D’Amelio Brands” and that it does “[have] the connections” to raise money for a TikTok buy.

It’s 2021. The world is gradually emerging from lockdown, blinking in the balmy sunshine as normal life – its pubs, parks, pubs in the park – begin to bubble with life again. One song is inescapable: an intimate electronic track from a little indie outfit from Oxford. “Heat Waves” by Glass Animals is the indisputable soundtrack of the summer, having come seemingly out of nowhere. Or did it?
When a song goes viral on TikTok, it feels organic. The spread of a danceable pop track, memeable sound bite, or classic Eighties love ballad seemingly happens overnight and at random selection. Suddenly, 14-year-olds are choreographing dances and vloggers are outfit-of-the-daying to it. And just like that, a trending track is born. But even a trend can be manufactured for the right price. Increasingly, TikTok influencers are being paid by PR agencies and music labels to post videos using a particular song in the...

If ByteDance wants to continue operating TikTok in the United States, it may need to divest its popular video app. If it does, it may be able to put TikTok in the hands of its creative community. Marc D’Amelio, the father of short-form stars Charli D’Amelio and Dixie D’Amelio, has revealed that he plans to put together a group of investors who will make a joint bid for TikTok ownership.
The father of two TikTok-famous D’Amelios announced his acquisition plans on Twitter. He and his family have been very active as investors in the creator economy. Charli D’Amelio has backed companies like Step, and the whole clan is involved in Vc firm 444 Capital, which is looking to spend $25 million on categories like “the direct-to-consumer space, fintech, edtech, healthcare, insurtech and other B2B2C platforms.”

In third grade, I practiced holding my hand in a bowl of ice water, training myself to endure pain for the coming concentration camps. After learning about Anne Frank and the horrors of the Holocaust in my synagogue’s Sunday school, I became terrified that black-booted Nazis would come stomping down the hallway.
I have grown up with Kanye West, now referred to as Ye. I awkwardly danced to his music in the school gym in the seventh grade, blasted it through open car windows when I got my driver’s license, and attempted to rap his lyrics at college parties. And as someone who considers himself creative, I admired the range he allowed his creativity to extend, breaking unexpected ground in music and fashion.
Throughout the past few years, as obvious signs of his troubled behavior have escalated, I’ve done my best to defend Ye.

Hulu has renewed The D’Amelio Show for a ten-episode third season. The second season premiered on September 28 and all 10 episodes are now streaming on Hulu.
Season two followed the family — Marc D’Amelio, Heidi D’Amelio, Dixie D’Amelio, Charli D’Amelio — as they dealt with public relationships, private struggles, new pursuits, and “unfathomable pressure and scrutiny,” says Hulu. Daughters Dixie and Charli struggle to separate their own self-love and identity from their online presence. Marc and Heidi parent in uncharted territory, as they try to protect their family from new pitfalls at every turn.
It can’t be all that bad: Charli D’Amelio just won Dancing with the Stars. Her ma got to dance, too!
The D’Amelio Show is executive produced by Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman on behalf of The Intellectual Property Corporation (Ipc), a part of Sony Pictures Television, with showrunner Sara Reddy executive producing.

The latest dining establishment opened by a major influencer is already drawing huge crowds. On November 12, vlogger David Dobrik showed up in Los Angeles to celebrate the opening of his pizza parlor Doughbrik’s, and his fans waited in hours-long lines to get slices for themselves.
Doughbrik’s, which the embattled creator announced last month, is located on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. According to Ktla, some patrons endured four-hour lines that stretched out of the brand-new establishment. TMZ noted that some opening-day attendees camped out overnight to ensure spots near the front of the queue. Others drove hundreds of miles just to meet the Vlog Squad leader.
“It’s so cliche to say, but it just doesn’t make any sense,” Dobrik told Ktla. “And I know that’s what everyone says, but when you’re here and you’re seeing this, it’s the most crazy feeling in the world.

Charli and Dixie D'Amelio might be roommates, partners in social media superstardom, and reality TV costars now, but things weren't always so rosy between the sisters. On the latest episode of "The Drew Barrymore Show," Dixie revealed that she and Charli "hated each other, like absolutely hated each other" as kids.
According to the social media star, the pair truly didn't get along throughout "all of middle school until we got into high school together." But as they grew older, the siblings became close. "We became best friends; she would come with me to every party on the weekend," Dixie said in the Oct. 5 interview. "It just happened out of nowhere, though. Like, we would go weeks without talking," she said. "Now I don't remember the last time we actually argued over anything."
Today, the pair are much closer. "We live together just us two, so it's pretty fun," Charli said.

Successful TikToker and social media personality Dixie D’Amelio is dressed to impress.
She has been very busy lately performing and creating her own empire, yet she still had time to leave us astonished.
D’Amelio posed on top of the hood of a convertible wearing a skintight orange dress.
The dress hugged her curves perfectly, as well as being super stylish and comfortable.
It had a cut-out on the sides with two gold circles joining the top and bottom together and giving her a small backless portion.
She added another layer with a cool vintage black leather jacket that she let fall off her shoulders.

Dixie D’Amelio looked amazing for a quick mall trip in a red crop top.
The TikToker and Charlie D’Amelio’s sister announced the September drop of the Social Tourist clothing collection in collaboration with Hollister.
She posed for the camera wearing a red crop top and a matching mini skirt.
D’Amelio layered that with an oversized black plaid blazer that she left bottomed up all the way in some pictures, and opened it, later on, to show off the clothing underneath.
For shoewear, she put on a pair of black platform boots with very thick heels.
The shoes made her legs look way longer and their shape gave the outfit a very cool and chic look.
