Born in California and raised in Oregon, Lori joined the US Marines after graduating high school. Marrying at the age of 19 to a fellow Marine she started a family raising 3 children and dedicating much of her time to an eclectic array of trades varying from welding and fabricating to mechanics work on roller coasters and amusement park rides. During the late 1990s through the early 2000s, she also ran a live music production business putting on concerts in her small hometown and other surrounding areas in Oregon. Additionally, she could be found playing in a variety of rock and punk bands in California, Oregon & Texas. Over the course of her career, she has acted in various roles in support of charities and has worked on several productions doing extra work as well as production assistant work. In 2010 she released a comedy parody album that she was unable to promote due to a car accident that nearly left her paralyzed. After the accident and subsequent divorce, she re-released her comedy album in 2016 and began performing at comedy clubs in the LA and San Diego area while still maintaining additional work as an extra work for various independent productions. As of January 2021, she is finishing up her degree in pursuit of a career in public policy but can still be found from time to time working on some sort of comedy, music, or film project.
