Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Trixie Mattel recaps the latest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s fourteenth episode, two time competitor and veteran “Pit Stop” guest Mo Heart rejoins Trixie for another chatty recap. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their conversation, Mo shares that they were in love with Xunami Muse this season and expected her to make the final four. Mo also knows Q personally and agrees with Trixie that her looks are “ridiculous” because “the boy can sew,” thinks Morphine Love Dion was sickening “from the moment she walked in,” and that the Sapphira Cristál “stumble” last episode gives the other girls a chance to win.

Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Trixie Mattel recaps the latest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s twelfth episode, season 2 winner of “Drag Race UK” Lawrence Chaney makes her recapping debut with no interest in giving “credit where it’s not due.” Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, Lawrence was happy to see Q reveal a “real human emotion moment” in how she felt some type away about Sapphira Cristál winning last week’s challenge. Both her and Trixie thought it was smart of her to not speak too much about her feelings though because she might have said something she regretted. For this week’s challenge, Lawrence thought it was a difficult one that requires them to be aesthetically on point while also funny when they host Michelle Visage...

Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Trixie Mattel recaps the latest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s eleventh episode, the Etb for guacamole on Taco Tuesday queen of “All Stars 8” Jessica Wild stopped by the studio for her first recap experience. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, Jessica and Trixie agreed that Sapphira Cristál is a queen they would be intimidated to compete against because she’s so successful in many areas, and of course Trixie wanted to know Jessica’s thoughts on Morphine Love Dion‘s makeup skills. Referring to the mini challenge, Jessica said that Plane Jane is the most delusional on the cast and Trixie made the point that delusional drag queens are not a bad thing.

Following Friday’s tenth episode, season 14 finalist Angeria Paris VanMichaels stopped by to share her thoughts on “Werq the World,” a tour she’s participated in herself. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, Angeria backed Dawn and Morphine Love Dion up for being “so irritated” that they don’t have a challenge win to their name yet, but she was not forgiving of Nymphia Wind‘s ongoing reputation for feigning insecurity during challenge prep because it’s happened too many times. On her own chances competing in this challenge, Angeria said that she would have handled the “funk” aspect really well and she’s capable of singing and dancing. She also spoke very highly of...

In their recap of the episode, Luxx tells Trixie that she’s enjoying the new season and claims credit for the “Rate a Queen” twist because of how she rated the girls on her own season. Once again, Trixie wants to gag over how flawless Morphine Love Dion‘s makeup skills are and Luxx agrees that she’s “the mug of the season.” They also understand Dawn and Sapphira Cristál growing frustrated with their placements near the top because while they’re very good at their own crafts, other queens with more wins like Plasma, Q...

Following Friday’s eighth episode, reigning champion and Mother of season 15 Sasha Colby makes her recap debut to break down this season’s “Snatch Game” performances. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, Sasha and Trixie have fun addressing the “unsolicited shade” of this season and how even when Plane Jane calls anyone “sister” feels like subtle shade as well. Sasha gives Jane some defense by admitting that as drag queens they all “just have a crippling desire for people to love us” and Jane is no different. When it came to the reading challenge of her season, Sasha was impressed by Loosey Laduca and Malaysia Babydoll Foxx; this season the standouts for her were Jane and Xunami Muse.

Following Friday’s seventh episode, musician and one-time judge of the show Orville Peck makes his “Pit Stop” debut. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, Orville tells Trixie that he’s watched the show since season one and she shares that he acts like a drag queen when they spend time together in their personal life. Orville calls season 5 his favorite of all time because of how classic their “Untucked” episodes were. The two share commentary on large makeup like Dawn‘s considering former contestants like Trixie, Mimi Imfurst and Bianca Del Rio had to explain their “club kid makeup” back then, but now queens like Dawn and the Methyd family just get to exist.

Following Friday’s sixth episode, season 12 finalist Crystal Methyd stops by to “welcome the girls to the family” by “judging their awful outfits.” Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, Crystal confirms that she’s rooting for her Missouri sister Q and that after a few episodes she finally gets the “character” of Plane Jane and is hoping for her to get in a physical fight. Crystal likens Jane to her own drag family member Daya Betty, saying she “knows what she’s in there to do,” but admits that she doesn’t like “Burger Finger” and doesn’t have as clear of a point of view with her drag as other girls like Dawn and Plasma.

Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Trixie Mattel recaps the latest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s fifth episode, season 14 queen Maddy Morphosis made her debut on the show and proved why she would be a great future host. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, both Trixie and Maddy gave Q grace for her emotional reaction to being safe yet again because they see her as someone so very close to a win that they can understand the sting of not getting it. When it comes to Plane Jane‘s villain edit, Trixie can appreciate that Jane shouldn’t “punch down” in her comments on Amanda Tori Meating‘s drag, but at the end of the day it’s making good cat fights that we haven’t seen on the show in a while.

When it came to this live, one-take challenge both Kahmora and Trixie think that the pressure of only having one take actually is a benefit for the queens because they have no opportunity to get in their head with their inner saboteur.

Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, Trixie and BeBe informed us how close they were when they appeared on “All Stars” together, bonding over just enjoying that they were there instead of focusing on the competition like everyone else. When it comes to the twists of this season, BeBe said that the rating system “creates a lot of animosity” and she would not want to have to do that because it’s “so traumatizing.

Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of the episode, Trixie and Brittany liked Geneva Karr‘s entrance look, but were confused over whether her name is intended to be a pun or not and appreciated her pride in being a leg hair artist on the internet. When it came to the divisive Plane Jane, they both lived for her first impression look and think that only someone that looks that good could come in guns blazing. The queen they did not live for is Megami.

Exclusive: One of the longest business partnerships in Hollywood is coming to an end. Lisa Kasteler will be retiring from Wolf Kasteler after steering the agency alongside founder Annett Wolf into a PR powerhouse for the past 32 years.
Kasteler will be leaving at the end of the month, winding down a 50-year career in PR, to become Executive Director of the Matthew Perry Foundation. Perry was a client of Kasteler — and the Wolf Kasteler agency — for 28 years until his sudden death Oct. 28 at the age of 54.
Before his passing, Perry had planned to start a foundation to help others overcome drug and alcohol abuse, which he had hoped to be his legacy. His friends and loved ones are now carrying on that legacy with the recently launched Matthew Perry Foundation, which is committed to identifying addiction as a disease, addressing stigmas that prevent individuals from seeking and accessing care, and...

Sports and music representation powerhouse Wasserman has finalized its acquisition of Brillstein Entertainment Partners, the venerable Hollywood management and production company. Terms were not disclosed. Deadline exclusively revealed the acquisition talks back in February.
Wasserman chairman and CEO Casey Wasserman and Brillstein co-CEOs Cynthia Pett and Jon Liebman made the announcement. It puts Wasserman, grandson of the iconic Hollywood representative and studio chief Lew Wasserman, directly into the film and TV representation and production game for the first time. It is the second strategic alignment for Wasserman, who took over the lucrative music touring business that was once the most profitable part of the Paradigm agency, at a time when the pandemic grounded live touring revenues.
It would be the latest move in management after 3Arts made a deal with Lionsgate, and Range Media Partners linked with Automatik.
Wasserman, Pett and Liebman believe their cultures will mesh in their compatible business and staffs.

It feels a little strange to say this in August, but the 2023 Streamy Awards are officially over, and they handed out a grand total of 50 awards to this year’s top creators.
This was the first year Tubefilter and dick clark productions held Streamys in the summertime, but the change of season didn’t mean everything changed: For the fourth time in a row, MrBeast took home Creator of the Year, and for the second time in a row, Kai Cenat snagged Streamer of the Year.
As for Show of the Year, that went to Michelle Khare and her daredevil series Challenge Accepted.
This year’s ceremony was hosted by MatPat, and featured dozens of presenters, including Dylan Mulvaney, Ryan Trahan, The Try Guys‘ Keith Habersberger and Zach Kornfeld, Smosh‘s Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox, TikTok Npc streamer Pinkydoll, Colin and Samir, Dream, Michelle Khare, Anna Sitar, Austin Creed,...

Hear ye, hear ye! The Royal Court is now in session, with queen Brittany Broski presiding over the festivities.
Broski (real name Brittany Tomlinson) is the creator and host of a new interview series that will go live on her official YouTube channel. Royal Court will feature a Medieval milieu and a format designed to capitalize on the popularity of short-form clips. In a teaser for the show, Broski donned her most daunting furs and took some moody castle shots at Sands Point Preserve in New York.

Robert Downey Jr.'s attempt to snap the perfect "Oppenheimer" cast photo was hilariously thwarted by John Krasinski. The "Iron Man" actor posted two photos featuring his "Oppenheimer" costars on Instagram on July 9, but one of them featured an interloper in the form of Emily Blunt's husband. "Linking up with my Oppenheimer cast mates...wait, is that a Krasinski photo bomb or might there be a surprise cameo???" Downey captioned his post.
When it comes to movies from director Christopher Nolan, it's always best to expect the unexpected, but it seems unlikely Krasinski will pop up in the film. Instead, he was most likely on hand to support Blunt, who plays a key role in the movie about J. Robert Oppenheimer, the man who led the Manhattan Project. Blunt joined Downey in the photos, alongside their fellow castmates Matt Damon and Cillian Murphy.

But today, most major stars have turned to social platforms like Instagram, YouTube and, more recently, TikTok to boost their fan followings and make some — or a lot of — extra cash along the way.

In recent years, more creators who got their start on social media have found success in quote-unquote traditional Hollywood, appearing in studio projects across film and TV. Last year, TikTok star Addison Rae struck a multimillion, multi-picture deal with...

Based in Los Angeles, Baral will identify new business verticals and secure brand partnerships for UTA’s roster of digital content creators. She’ll report report to UTA partner and head of digital talent Ali Berman.
Baral most recently worked as a digital talent agent at ICM, where she co-led the department’s growth initiatives over the past 18 months. She nabbed deals for Peloton’s Tunde Oyeneyin to become the first-ever athletic trainer to be named as a Nike athlete and a face of Revlon’s ColorStay cosmetics line.
She previously worked in ICM’s global branded entertainment division and began her career in the agency’s concerts department.
“Katie brings a strong understanding of how emerging creators can leverage their unique areas of expertise to resonate with audiences across all social platforms,” said Berman in a statement.

In the beginning, there was a rat. Specifically, Remy, the Parisian rodent at the center of Ratatouille, the 2007 Pixar movie about a rat who loves to cook. Ratatouille, though critically acclaimed upon its release, was not a commercial juggernaut like Disney properties Frozen or The Lion King — yet over the past few months, it has enjoyed a renaissance on musical theater TikTok, where members of Gen Z are building a musical adaptation from scratch (potential litigation from Disney be damned.) We spoke to over half-a-dozen of the creators and, what follows,...

TikTok took the opportunity today to address concerns surrounding its nascent Creator Fund, which is expected to pay out $200 million to creators in the U.S. this year -- with the size of the Fund expected to reach $1 billion over the next three years. Globally, the Creator Fund is expected to balloon to $2 billion within that timeframe, the company says.
TikTok shared today that it has already enlisted tens of thousands of U.S. creators in the Fund, including massive names like David Dobrik, Avani Gregg, and Brittany Broski, as well as up-and-comers like finance guru Humphrey Yang, creative mixologist The Paradise Bartender, and woodworking expert Johnson Co. Woodworking.
TikTok has been relatively tight-lipped about the Fund operates -- though it has confirmed that, in order to be eligible, creators must have at least 10,000 followers and have clocked 10,000 views within a 30-day period. That said, it is unclear how the...

Chipotle is ticking all the millennial and Gen Z boxes with its Super Bowl ad outing, which will involve a bevvy of TikTok stars including David Dobrik and Addison 'Rae' Easterling, set to the musical stylings of Justin Bieber.
To promote the fact that it will be offering free delivery on Sundays throughout the month of February -- for all orders over $10 -- Chipotle is launching a digital campaign dubbed 'TikTok Timeout'. Creators will be tasked with showcasing their own personal content stylings set to Bieber’s new single, “Yummy.”
Rather than running on TV during the big game, the spots will air on exclusively on TikTok -- but during commercials after team time-outs have been called. (They can also be accessed via the hashtag #TikTokTimeout on Sunday). In addition to Dobrik and Easterling, participants include Zach King, Avani Gregg, Nick Uhas, Brittany Broski, Joshua Sadowski, Zahra, Kyle Shaffer, and Greg Auerbach.
