Match #1: Mike Santana def. Myron Reed The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
The match began with Wentz causing a distraction, allowing Myron Reed to gain the upper hand on Santana. Santana quickly turned the tables, delivering multiple running clotheslines to Reed. Reed showcased his speed with a kip-up and a back kick, followed up with a Lung Blower. As Reed attempted his signature flying cutter, Santana countered with a “Rolling Buck 50,” then eliminated the rest of the Rascalz with a spectacular dive. Santana then clinched the victory with a powerful roaring clothesline.

It’s Old School Rules in the 2300 Arena as Rhino looks to teach a lesson to X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali! Old School Rules means no disqualifications, no count-outs and anything goes. One of the highly awaited professional wrestling events; WrestleMania Xl will take place on April 6th and 7th 2024 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. WrestleMania 40 is going to be the first WrestleMania event to be held under the Tko banner and with WWE, not under the McMahon family. Triple H has confirmed that the main event of WrestleMania Xl is indeed going to be Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns.
Cody Rhodes returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 in 2022 and announced that he desires to ‘finish the story’ by winning the WWE Championship. At the same event, Roman Reigns became the undisputed WWE Universal Champion and managed to retain the title and win the WWE Championship. Now, ahead of the highly anticipated match between Rhodes and Reigns, WWE veteran Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) shared his thoughts on the same.

Match #1: Nic Nemeth def. Trey Miguel The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
After defeating Zachary Wentz last week, Nic Nemeth must now lock horns with another Rascal in Trey Miguel! Nemeth clotheslines Miguel over the top rope to the floor. Wentz provides a momentary distraction, allowing Miguel to take him out with a dive. Back in the ring, Miguel rakes the eyes, then drives Nemeth shoulder-first into the steel ring post. Nemeth creates separation with a mid-air dropkick to counter Miguel’s springboard. Nemeth delivers repeated elbow drops but Miguel kicks out. Wentz trips up Nemeth in the corner and the referee ejects him from ringside. Miguel soars with the Meteora off the distraction but it’s not enough.

The professional wrestler formerly known as WWE’s Dolph Ziggler, Nic Nemeth is back and making waves this week after an appearance in New Japan Pro Wrestling, and he’s also starring in a horror short that serves as a unique promo for the next phase of his career.
The 3-minute short is titled “Wanted Man,” and it was directed by genre filmmaker Maggie Levin. Nic Nemeth plays the titular “Wanted Man” in the bloody short, a Kurt Russell/Ash Williams type dealing with the zombie apocalypse.
The short film starts with Nemeth locked up in the back of a police car, and his day gets worse when a Sam Raimi-style Deadite invasion shows up to the party. From there, Nemeth heads into a bar where the fight gets really bloody, ending with one hell of a gory finishing move.
Watch “Wanted Man” below and stay tuned for more from Nic Nemeth in Njpw.

WWE didn’t need to wait until Friday night to lay the smackdown on its employees, as mass layoffs were initiated on Thursday following the merger of the pro wrestling giant and UFC, led by Endeavor.
More than 100 employees — mostly from the WWE — got some sweet chin music this week that they were being released amid the move to cut costs in the Endeavor purchase. While not everybody will be a household name, there are still some major sports entertainers on the list. These include 19-year veteran Dolph Ziggler, a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Money in the Bank winner; Shelton Benjamin, who had one of the longest Intercontinental Championship reigns ever (putting him in the company of The Rock and Mr. Perfect); and the vastly underutilized Elias (we hope Ezekial still has a job at least…).

Music superstar Bad Bunny is set to host the live WWE event “Backlash” in his native Puerto Rico. It will take place on Saturday, May 6, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan. It’s the first live WWE event taking place in Puerto Rico since 2005.
“In 2005 when I was a kid, I wasn’t able to attend New Year’s Revolution at el Coliseo,” Bad Bunny said in a statement. “Finally, 18 years later WWE returns to the island with a massive event and this time I won’t miss it.”

Match #1: Emi Sakura, Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose def. Johnnie Robbie, Vipress and Zyra
My Thoughts: This match saw a return to the Shafir/Rose/Vickie squabbles that we’ve seen previously – they’re obviously building to the split between the trio but at the same time I’ve enjoyed the teaming of Nyla Rose’s intensity with Vickie Guerrero’s brash attitude and I’ll miss it when the split does happen. As for this match? It felt more like an angle than a match but still, an Aew quasi-squash is still an Aew quasi-squash!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Daniel Garcia def.

Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly… Let’s see what went down on this week’s show. As usual we’re focussing on the televised Product not the rumours, news and speculation (which these days is all anyone seems to be talking about!)… Let’s get into it!
Match #1: Solo Sikoa def. Mustafa Ali The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Mustafa Ali came into the night looking for payback, but Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline were ready for a fight when they rolled into Raw. A tornado Ddt nearly gave Ali one of the biggest upsets in recent Raw history, but Sikoa kicked out and responded with a brutal Samoan Spike to secure the victory. Kevin Owens rushed the ring and delivered a Stunner that unleashed a brawl with The Bloodline that took over the night on the red brand.

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features 11 matches on this week’s show – urghhhh, I’m not a fan of these longer cards, especially given most matches are usually squashes! We’ve got Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary, so let’s get into the review.
Match #1: Brian Cage def. Schaff
My Thoughts: As this started I thought “here we go, another Brian Cage squash” but that is Not what we got! The crowd in attendance were clearly behind Schaff and so we actually got something of a competitive match, with Cage letting Schaff showcase his stuff for those unfamiliar with his work. In the end that made for a great match!

Match #1: WWE Tag Team Championship – The Usos def. Matt Riddle & Kevin Owens The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After Elias was taken out by The Bloodline before Monday Night Raw got underway, Matt Riddle was looking isolated. Luckily for him, he found someone who dislikes The Bloodline as much as he does in the form of Kevin Owens. Ko and The Original Bro started off well, with The Usos being unable to thwart the offensive onslaught from the get-go. The longest reigning tag team champions turned the tide until a huge Swanton Bomb from Ko nearly upset the pecking order. The biggest members of each team in Luke Gallows and Otis collided in the ring, registering high numbers on the Richter scale. Otis continued to play spoiler, stopping The O.C. from hitting the Magic Killer, which lead to a brilliant back-and-forth between Chad Gable and Anderson. Match #1: Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair def. Carmella The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Lynch scouted her competition from the announce table, as it was announced that the winner would face her at SummerSlam for the Raw Women’s Championship.

"Too late... we're here!" Time for a killer sci-fi short! Or maybe you've already watched but are just reading the post now? The Speed of Time is a funny time travel short directed by William J. Stribling, and written by Russ Nickel & Stribling. John Hennigan stars as Johnny Killfire, a future cop who must go back in time and team up with his former self in order to stop the TimeBorgs from getting their hands on an app that could break the space-time continuum by delivering pizzas into the past... before they were even ordered. This also stars Sean Marquette, Alex Jennings, and Nic Nemeth. And features "The Speed of Time", an original song by Dylan Glatthorn. It doesn't reinvent the time travel wheel, but it is an amusing sci-fi action short with one killer Killfire performance that makes it a tasty "steaming hot belly bomb." This is a fun one.

Cena’s mom was, in fact, in attendance to see her 39-year-old son’s big moment. And when Bella saw her now-fiancé bring out the ring,...

It’s time once more for Wrestlemania the biggest professional wrestling and sports entertainment event for fans and performers that there is. This year the event is held in Orlando, the home of Nxt – where a lot of the current roster of superstars got their start -and as usual (at least on paper) the card doesn’t seem that great. But that’s the thing with the WWE’s biggest pay per view, there’s always surprises: especially when it comes to Wrestlemania moments…. So with that lets get into Wrestlemania 33 – starting with the usual 2-hour kick off pre-show, which this year features the Crusiserweight Championship match the the now-annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale.
Wrestlemania 33 Kick-Off Show Cruiserweight Championship Match: Austin Aries vs Neville
Aries has the upper hand early in the match, hitting a spinning elbow on Neville off the middle rope, sending him to the outside.

In my 25 years as a wrestling fan, Royal Rumble has always been one of my favourite annual events. The opportunity to see a bunch of your favourite WWE stars and the potential for surprises make it a night to keep an eye on. This year has some interesting matches, and the Rumble itself it set to be a star-studded affair featuring a handful of veteran names from the past, primarily Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker.
The Kick-Off show matches began with the women of Smackdown Live going at it in a six-woman tag team match. It was a shame that this seemingly got bumped from the main show, and I hope more effort is given to the women’s division on Smackdown soon. There are seperate feuds going on, so maybe we will see multiple women’s matches at the next Smackdown Live exclusive PPV. Nikki Bella, Naomi and...
