Update: After the Bandcamp page viral, the screamo tracks have been taken down. Now, the only thing that appears on the page is a 1-second clip called “Oof” attributed to uhhhhhh.
Swifties may have noticed there is now a Taylor Swift Bandcamp page, but it’s not at all what you’d expect. Rather than being home to the pop star’s discography, the website contains music from Madison James, a member of the New Jersey rock bands Ogbert the Nerd and No Good with Secrets.
There are currently three tracks on the page, titled “Taylor Swift 1,” “Taylor Swift 2,” and “Taylor Swift 3,” which were uploaded after James jokingly tweeted last week about “starting a screamo band” upon securing taylorswift.bandcamp.com. Stream the songs below.

Taylor Swift‘s famous friends are some of her biggest fans, and they never hesitate to sing her praises.
When the 34-year-old “Shake It Off” pop titan was named Apple Music’s Artist of the Year a few months ago, some of her friends spoke to the platform and revealed which of her iconic eras speaks to them the most.
Some of them, like Selena Gomez and Camila Cabello, simply hyped up their pal’s artistry.
“I think it’s pretty obvious why Taylor is the artist of the year. She has done so much for her community and fans,” Selena said about her bestie at the time.
Camila described Taylor‘s albums as “poetry” and said that she had been “the soundtrack to me and my friends’ lives.” Gracie Abrams simply said that she “makes magic.”

Courtney Love could have a cruel summer running into Swifties after saying their favorite artist Taylor Swift is neither important nor interesting.
In a new interview with The Standard promoting Love’s BBC Radio series celebrating women in music, the Hole singer didn’t have kind words to say about Swift. “Taylor is not important,” she said. “She might be a safe space for girls, and she’s probably the Madonna of now, but she’s not interesting as an artist.”

Making room to piss off another fanbase, Love also said Beyoncé isn’t her cup of tea — though she appreciates the “concept” of Queen Bey’s latest album, Cowboy Carter. “I like the idea of Beyoncé doing a country record because it’s about Black women going into spaces where previously only white women have been allowed,” she explained. “I just don’t like her music.

Call him the great collaborator. In the past year, Noah Kahan has duetted with Kacey Musgraves, Brandi Carlile, and Gracie Abrams, as part of his Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever) series. Now, he’s found the ultimate counterpart: A literal stick. Or as literal as it gets on Sesame Street.
In a teaser for the series’ upcoming 55th season, an adoring stick revealed itself actually to be a fan. “Oh, Noah, Noah,” it fawned, “Thank you, thank you.” Kahan played it cool: “Oh yeah, ‘Season of the Stick.

It’s a good season to be a stick, especially for those on Sesame Street, as Noah Kahan guests in a new clip from the show’s 55th season. Watch it below.
The 44-second clip sees an anthropomorphic stick thanking Kahan for putting twigs everywhere in the spotlight, before ultimately going back to his “day job” of being thrown around for a game of fetch. Kahan doesn’t say much in the sneak peek, though he does close the teaser by singing, “I love Sesame, but it’s the season of the sticks.”

The creative director of Maison Valentino, Pierpaolo Piccioli, has always considered color a powerful channel of immediate and direct communication, systematically used as a means of altering perception and reevaluating form and function. First, he focused on red, inherited from Valentino, the founder of the brand, then the pink of the past seasons, and now it’s the turn for black.
For the Valentino Le Noir Fall/Winter 2024 collection, shown during Paris Fashion Week in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Piccioli presented Valentino through the lens of black, which does not represent an absence of color, nor an exercise in monochromy or monotony, but rather the discovery of a whole spectrum of hues. Celebrities sitting front row at the show included The Bear‘s Molly Gordon, Bridgerton‘s Simone Ashley and singer Gracie Abrams.
“Baudelaire said that black is the uniform of democracy, and this phrase seems more relevant to me today than ever before.

Noah Kahan is back with the latest Stick Season re-release: a fresh cut of “Homesick” featuring a new verse from Sam Fender.
First announced earlier this week, the augmented version of “Homesick” follows a series of duet cuts Kahan has shared commemorating the one-year anniversary of Stick Season’s 2022 release, including collaborations with Gracie Abrams, Hozier, Kacey Musgraves, Lizzy McAlpine, and Post Malone.

In lengthy press statements, the artists explained how the collaboration grew out of a mutual respect that they had for each other.
“I come from a very different place than Sam did… but it felt like I had grown up the same,” Kahan said. “The nostalgia, pride, bitterness, confusion, and anger that Sam wrote about feeling was so similar to...
