As we prepare to close the door on 2022, celebrities are taking the last few days to celebrate and recount this year’s memories.
Despite it being a year riddled with the tragic deaths of high-profile figures, including Queen Elizabeth II and Foo Fighters star Taylor Hawkins, and even more real-life drama like the infamous Oscars slap, there have still been cultural phenomenons that united us all: the breathtaking season four of Stranger Things and Taylor Swift’s record-breaking album Midnights.
So, as we step into the new year, singers, actors, and sports professionals have chosen to reflect on and highlight these personal wins.
“Future Nostalgia 2022, the year that changed my life. Thank you for the lifetime of memories,” wrote Dua Lipa of her Grammy-winning second album.

Where to Watch ‘Trying’: Apple TV+
Maybe it’s trite to call couples a “team,” but if there’s one current TV couple that really earns such a description, it’s Jason Ross and Nikki Newman from the Apple TV+ series “Trying.” It makes sense, given how much of the show so far is based around the two making an attempt (few series sport a title as thesaurus-prompting as this one) to grow their family.
After finding out they can’t conceive on their own, Nikki and Jason begin the lengthy adoption process. Even against the stream of encounters with exes and roller-coaster news updates from their adoption liaison, “Trying” has its moorings in two people who keep finding ways back to each other. Rafe Spall and Esther Smith have such a playful onscreen chemistry that, along with the direction from Jim O’Hanlon...

If you haven't heard of Maisie Peters, oh boy, get excited. Listening to the English singer-songwriter's music is like spilling tea with your best girlfriend; she writes about everything from youth to friendship to love (and heartbreak) in her songs, making her an icon for young girls just trying to navigate life. Her two EPs, Dressed Too Nice For a Jacket and It's Your Bed Babe, It's Your Funeral are made up of killer storytelling and catchy beats that you can dance to - or have an existential crisis in your car to. Either works!
She starting posting original songs on Youtube at 15, gracing the internet with her music and her bubbly energy, and her career has taken off since then. Now, at 20 years old, she has toured all over and has developed a considerable fan base that just keeps growing. Here's everything you need to know about Peters.
