- Their first singles were produced by a San Francisco disc jockey by the name of Sylvester Stewart. Stewart would later gain fame as Sly Stone and would go on to lead the influential group Sly and the Family Stone.

- The version of "Laugh Laugh" heard on the "Shinrock-A-Go-Go" episode of The Flintstones is the original recording.
- This was the first group from the San Francisco area to strike it big on a national level. In fact, they predated groups such as Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service and Grateful Dead by just over two years.
- Their two biggest hit singles were "Laugh Laugh" and "Just a Little".
