Cara Maria Sorbello made her highly-anticipated return for a season of The Challenge with the recent premiere of All Stars 4.
While she previously appeared on The Challenge: Battle For a New Champion on MTV, Cara hadn’t done a full season since War of the Worlds 2 in 2019.
That season, she participated in a major alliance that her boyfriend Paulie Calafiore set up with other players from Team UK.
It led to plenty of chaos and potential grudges from other cast members, and the duo wasn’t seen back on The Challenge until this year’s USA 2 and All Stars 4 spin-offs.
Paulie was the first to return on USA 2 and buried the hatchet with their rival Johnny Bananas. Cara showed up for MTV’s Season 39 as a mercenary – filmed after she’d completed filming for All Stars 4.

Jordan Wiseley is among The Challenge greats, with three wins on the main show and another in the spinoff, The Challenge: World Championship.
He’s become known for overcoming obstacles, including some difficult gameplay from his castmates in War of the Worlds 2.
That season, Jordan was part of Team USA along with other stars, including Leroy Garrett, Zach Nichols, Paulie Calafiore, and Cara Maria Sorbello.
Jordan’s girlfriend and then-fiancee, Tori Deal, was also part of the team until both chose to “defect” to Team UK.
The season included a memorable moment as Jordan proposed to Tori before he defected to Team UK. During the footage, Cara Maria also made a snarky remark doubting their relationship.
On a recent Zach Nichols Podcast, Jordan addressed Cara’s remarks about the season during her The Challenge: Home Turf episode.

Regarding drama at The Challenge: Battle For a New Champion reunion, viewers saw second-place contestant Nurys Mateo involved in several segments.
None of those instances involved the former champions who appeared as part of the special.
Instead, Nurys aimed at her Season 39 castmates, including Jay Starrett and Olivia Kaiser, whom she felt did her wrong during the season despite being friends ahead of filming.
Meanwhile, several Challenge champions were in the building, who Nurys expected to have more drama during the event but didn’t.
She recently shared that she thought she’d see more interaction between Laurel Stucky and Cara Maria Sorbello based on their Challenge history.
Nurys said she was “shocked” that there was actually more drama with Tori Deal going after Cara, though.
Nurys ‘shocked’ by Season 39 castmates’ drama
“Taking a step back and as a fan, I wanted more drama between Laurel and Cara,” Nurys admitted while on Challenge Mania Podcast.

Stephen Bear has shared his first update since getting an early release from prison, serving just 11 months of a 21-month sentence.
Bear served time for his conviction for voyeurism, disclosing private, sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress, and harassment without violence.
The former Challenge competitor surfaced in a new video featuring a shot of him jogging outdoors into the video frame.
Bear stops and begins throwing punches in the air before he winks and flexes for the camera.
Music plays over the scene with a sound bite from part of Tom Hardy’s film Legend, which tells the story of twin gangsters Ronald and Reginald Kray wreaking havoc on London in the 1960s.

Bayleigh Dayton is still married to Swaggy C Williams
Missouri native Bayleigh Dayton and Connecticut-based day trader Chris “Swaggy C” Williams met in 2018 while competing on CBS’s Big Brother 20. Even though he was evicted in Week 2, they formed a close showmance, and he proposed to her the next time he saw her at the finale.
They married a few months later, in February 2019, without a formal ceremony and kept the marriage a secret. The couple eventually revealed the news in a January 2020 YouTube video. In honor of Black History Month, E! is talking to Black reality show contestants to reveal what it's really like being a minority on TV. Addressing Nguyen's social media statements, the network continued, "We strongly condemn systemic racism and stand with those raising their voices against injustice." One voice within their own family that definitely took notice of their action?...

Siesta Key will return to MTV for a fourth season.
The hit reality series has officially been picked up for a new batch of episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
However, the series is leaving the titular Siesta Key behind.
The outlet is reporting that Juliette Potter, Madisson Hausburg, Kelsey Owens, Chloe Trautman, Brandon Gomes, Amanda Miller, and Garrett Miller are all set to return for the first season produced in a Covid-19 world.
The cast and crew will take over a private resort in Sarasota, keeping everyone in a quarantine bubble, in similar vein to how The Bachelorette and the forthcoming season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation were filmed.
The series will follow strict Covid-19 protocols, which is unsurprising. In order to be allowed to produce TV, these protocols have to be followed.
Siesta Key Season 3 was not affected by the pandemic, but it was affected by the firing of series lead Alex Kompothecras.

What a horrible finale.
The Challenge Season 35 Episode 16 didn't have the excitement of a season finale.
Aside from the final nine competitors scaling a mountain, it felt like a regular installment.
If you watch The Challenge online, you know The Challenge Season 36 has been a mostly disjointed affair, thanks largely to Dee Nguyen getting the pink slip.
The season failed to bounce back after acting like Dee was not a major part of the storyline. They gave her the villain edit, only to erase her.
It was... strange.
In any case, the finale featured a lot of weak competitors, perhaps making it easier for the ultimate victors to, well, tiptoe around a mountain.
Believe me, there were high stakes, but the final challenge weeded out the people who were not cut out to be crowned the winners, and it was particularly surprising that two competitors walked out of the competition.

It looks like some veterans of The Challenge are unimpressed with the current state of the show.
Paulie Calafiore and Cara Maria Sorbello, who are not a part of the current season, have taken to social media to air their thoughts on the show.
The Challenge Season 35 launched in April with over 1 million viewers, but the numbers have struggled to stay close to that opening figure.
While the show has risen some weeks, we're 14 episodes in, and the numbers are down just over 200,000 viewers.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, you would think that the ratings would be on an upswing, and that thought was not lost on Paulie or Cara.
It all started when Cara responded to a fan about War of the Worlds, which kicked off with over 800,000 viewers, before wrapping with over 1 million viewers.

Siesta Key's Juliette Porter has opened up about MTV firing her ex-boyfriend, and it's clear she thinks the cable network made the right call.
If you watch Siesta Key online, you know Alex Kompothecras was the lead of the show, with all the storylines revolving around his circle of friends.
Alex was given the pink slip last week after it was discovered that he allegedly retweeted racist and white supremacist comments and memes in the past.
Kompotecras was fired just ahead of the show's midseason return, and MTV responded by cutting most of his scenes, effectively making a two-hour episode less than an hour in length.
Fans were vocal about the decision, but not all of them agreed with it, with Porter condemning these supposed fans via social media.
Now, however, the reality star has doubled down on her views about Alex getting the boot in a new interview...

MTV is parting ways with another controversial reality TV star.
Alex Kompothecras, who has appeared on the first three seasons of the cabler's The Hills wannabe, Siesta Key, has been fired from the series due to an alleged history of racially-charged and insensitive messages.
The news broke Tuesday just minutes before Siesta Key Season 3 returned to the air after a midseason hiatus.
"We’ve made the decision to cut ties with Alex and are editing the current season to minimize his presence," an MTV spokesperson said last night on the show's official Twitter account, adding:
"He will not be in future seasons of Siesta Key."
Kompothecras was edited out of what was supposed to be a two-hour premiere, but MTV aired an episode that spanned just 54 minutes.
If you watch Siesta Key online, you there was a severe lack of context on the new episode, with arguments seemingly popping up out of nowhere.

Friday’s “Bering Sea Gold” may just spell the end for the Myrtle Irene.
In a sneak peek of the episode obtained by TheWrap, onlookers watch in horror as Kerr sends out a desperate call: “Mayday Mayday! Myrtle Irene is in catastrophic dire failure!” We — and Discovery Channel — teased the scary scene back in March.
In the new clip, Emily Riedel, the captain of The Eroica, says an I-told-you-so from shore.
“This is what happens when you don’t respect the Bering Sea,” she says, watching as her competitor’s gold-mining ship, only a few miles from shore, nearly gets swallowed by waves.
