"The Walking Dead" ended its 11th and last season with a bang. While three spinoffs are coming soon, including "Dead City," it was the final farewell to the flagship series. Throughout its run, diehard fans came to care deeply about its characters and were glued to their televisions, hooked into stories about survival and keeping humanity intact. Characters such as Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) made the show what it quickly became — a ratings juggernaut. It may not have reached the creative heights of "Breaking Bad" or "Game of Thrones," but it had immense heart. When a character was put on the chopping block, it was often a devastating, soul-rattling experience.
Across 11 seasons, there were plenty of deaths that broke millions of hearts. Whether you're talking about that Season 2 barn reveal, the emergency C-section, or that baseball bat scene in Season 7, the show relentlessly forced its audience to face death and perhaps question their mortality.

In the extraordinarily unlikely event that you didn’t catch Crisis on Infinite Earths, the massive and incredibly ambitious Arrowverse crossover that changed the CW’s DC superhero shows forever, when it aired in December and January, you’re about to get another chance. While the episodes of Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow that made up the core of the crossover have been available to stream on the CW Seed app since their airdates (and only just recently aired in the UK for the first time earlier this week), there hasn’t been an easy and convenient way to catch ’em all again on traditional broadcast TV.
That’s all going to change next week, though. The entire TV production schedule has been disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic, which forced Arrowverse shows like The Flash, Batwoman, and Supergirl to stop filming, and even had an effect...

It's official: The CW's Arrow has ended after eight seasons of crime-fighting. On Jan. 28, the series finale premiered and tied up various loose ends following the death of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event. It shows how Oliver's sacrifice brought back loved ones who initially died throughout the course of Arrow, including Oliver's mom, Moira (Susanna Thompson), and his best friend, Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell). We also get a tear-jerking appearance from Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), who returns to attend Oliver's funeral and see her grown-up daughter from the future.
But there's one particular scene that has fans very excited. John Diggle (David Ramsey), who is preparing to move to Metropolis with wife Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson), is sent flying into the air when a meteor-like object crashes in front of his house. He approaches the rubble only to find a small box, and when he opens it,...

“Crisis on Infinite Earths” reached its midseason break last night with its third episode. Fans are desperate for more after that massive world-breaking cliffhanger, but with the shows on hiatus, why not rewatch what we’ve seen so far?
On that note, The CW reminded folks today that they can stream the first three-fifths of the Arrowverse crossover on their website now with the release of an epic poster that brings together a multiverse of superheroes (and one villain). Looming over the heroes is the Monitor (Lamonica Garrett), while underneath him, from left to right, we have Heatwave (Dominic Purcell), Batwoman (Ruby Rose), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), White Canary (Caity Lotz), John Constantine (Matt Ryan), Martian Manhunter (David Harewood), Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton), Harbinger (Audrey Marie Anderson), Earth-90’s Flash (John Wesley Shipp), Black Lightning (Cress Williams), Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer), Vibe (Carlos Valdes), Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch...

The CW’s biggest crossover event yet, “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” is going down well with fans. It’s already delivered a ton of cool cameos from across adaptions of DC’s work, with the first few minutes alone bringing us Robert Wuhl’s Alexander Knox reading about Burtonverse Batman stopping Joker, then to DC Universe’s Titans-verse, then Russell Tovey’s The Ray on Earth-x before finally (and best of all) stopping off at Earth-66 where Burt Ward’s Dick Grayson sees the oncoming disaster and yells “Holy crimson skies of death!” On top of that, we’ve revisited Smallville and seen Kevin Conroy play an unexpectedly sinister Bruce Wayne.
If you’ll recall, though, back in November, Arrowverse producer Marc Guggenheim hinted that the break between the third and fourth episodes would see a major cliffhanger, and he wasn’t kidding, as last night’s outing saw...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched “Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Two,” the “Batwoman” episode of the 2019 “Arrowverse” crossover.
“Crisis on Infinite Earths” set a strong tone with its opener Sunday night, as the Anti-Monitor hurtling through space obliterated Earth-38 and claimed its first superhero victim in Oliver Queen aka the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell). That action picked right back up with “Part Two” on Monday night’s “Batwoman,” as the assembled heroes mourned the fallen and worked together to stop the imminent apocalypse.
The episode kicked off with Sara Lance aka White Canary (Caity Lotz) and Kara Danvers aka Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) raising one to Ollie before Lyla aka Harbinger (Audrey Marie Anderson) and The Monitor (Lamonica Garrett) crashed the party and brought everyone back to reality — Anti-Matter was only growing stronger and they needed to stop it in its wake.

Well, it's finally here. Crisis on Infinite Earths kicked off with a tremendous, ridiculously ambitious hour of television. "Crisis on Infinite Earths Part One" is the Supergirl chapter of this year's Arrowverse crossover, so naturally it put a lot of focus on what was happening on Earth-38, with plenty of time for Superman and Lois to shine, as well. But there was a big surprise death along the way, with lots of breadcrumbs and DC Comics Easter eggs leading up to it.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched “Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part One,” the premiere of the 2019 “Arrowverse” crossover.
Bringing “Crisis on Infinite Earths” to the small screen has been years in the making, so it’s no surprise the epic five-part crossover kicked off with plenty of action on Sunday night with “Supergirl.”
Following a quick refresher of the multiverses (including an appearance from Burt Ward), the cameras honed in on Earth-38 where a dishevelled Wil Wheaton made a cameo as a placard-carrying man alerting everyone to the impeding doomsday. Enter a pants-wearing Kara aka the titular Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) — complete with bangs — to stop the immediate crisis of an angry and oversized lizard, but there were bigger things at play.
The resident superheroes of Earth-38 quickly realized the shocks hitting the planet weren’t actually earthquakes but a wave of antimatter on its way to take them out.

The “Arrowverse” “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover kicked off with a bang: Oliver Queen aka the Green Arrow’s (Stephen Amell) death.
With “Crisis” finally here, Harbinger (Audrey Marie Anderson) recruited a group of heroes — including Green Arrow, The Flash (Grant Gustin), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Batwoman (Ruby Rose), Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), White Canary (Caity Lotz) and The Atom (Brandon Routh) — and put them on Earth-38 (where “Supergirl” is set) to try and save the day.
As the heroes realized they couldn’t save the planet, they instead opted to rescue its inhabitants, boarding them on ships in the hopes of transporting them to a different Earth. But when the fight got to be too much, The Monitor (Lamonica Garrett) appeared, transporting most of the team to safety.

The Arrowverse’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover is all set to be an epic TV event. It will span episodes of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. This TV event is an adaption of a 12-issue DC Comics miniseries by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, which ran between 1985 and 1986. The comic-book version of Crisis served to condense the vast DC Multiverse into one standalone universe. A cosmic being called the Monitor recruited heroes to fend off his evil counterpart, the Anti-Monitor, and both Supergirl and Barry Allen died to save what was left of the multiverse. The comic gave us numerous iconic images, such as Barry’s face melting...

It's officially crossover time! Crisis on Infinite Earths starts Sunday, Dec. 8 and The CW just released the final trailer for the epic event. And we're not kidding when we call it "epic event." In the trailer below, viewers get the lowdown on the whole Multiverse thing (how and why there are various superheroes—and versions of superheroes—operating at the same time), and what brings them together. "Now, there is a malevolent force at work, one driven by a singular goal: The destruction of all there is," the voiceover says as Supergirl (Melissa Beniost) sees her home planet of Argo destroyed. Lyla Michaels/Harbinger (Audrey Marie Anderson) breaks it down even more: "There's...

Another episode of Arrow season 8, another welcome return of a familiar face. This time, Paul Blackthorne is returning as Quentin Lance. Now, however, he’s back as if he never died in the first place. And only Oliver Queen knows something is up.
As this preview teases, episode 8×06 “Reset” sees the Emerald Archer finding himself in a slightly different alternate reality in which Quentin managed to survive his gunshot wound and is still alive in 2019. In the final season of Arrow, Oliver and the gang have been traveling between dimensions and going back and forth in time to prepare for the upcoming “Crisis on Infinite Earth,” The CW’s massive crossover event that’ll bring together every hero in the Arrowverse to fight off a menace that threatens existence.
The last run of the Green Arrow’s show has been nothing short of phenomenal this year, with each week’s episode exceeding the previous one in terms of scale and quality. This season isn’t only doing a pretty good job of setting up the crossover event though, but also paying homage to the series that essentially served as a launchpad for the Arrowverse.
One of the more interesting plot developments so far has been the revelation that Lyla Michaels is working with the Monitor, which will ultimately lead to her emergence as the Harbinger.

An action-adventure series, the Arrow TV show stars Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Katie Cassidy, Rick Gonzalez, Juliana Harkavy, Katherine McNamara, Ben Lewis, Joseph David-Jones, and Charlie Barnett. Others appearing in the final season include Willa Holland, Colton Haynes, Colin Donnell, Josh Segarra, John Barrowman, Susanna Thompson, Lamonica Garrett, Rila Fukushima, Byron Mann, Lexa Doig, and Audrey Marie Anderson. The series begins with billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Amell) being shipwrecked and presumed dead for five years. He returns home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs of his family and fighting injustice as the Green Arrow. In season eight, following the arrival of a...

A new official character poster has arrived online for “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” The previous two have highlighted familiar Arrowverse faces in new guises – specifically, Brandon Routh as Kingdom Come Superman and Audrey Marie Anderson as Harbinger. The third one though sees Tom Cavanagh suit up as Pariah, his latest character who’ll play a major role in the crossover event.
The poster, which comes to us via KSiteTV, reveals the Flash actor’s costume for “Crisis.” Fans who know the original comic book will recognize that this outfit’s very faithful to the character from the source material and so far, it looks great.

If any of the big return announcements surrounding Arrow‘s eighth and final season excited longtime viewers most, chief among them had to be Willa Holland’s comeback. After winning over fans for the first six seasons as Thea Queen, she opted to bounce after that. But now that the end of the road is in sight, odds are she agreed to put in a few more appearances so that the show gets its proper sendoff.
Despite how news of Holland’s return broke only a few weeks ago, we can look forward to seeing her much sooner than expected. In fact, the latest round of photos and synopsis to be released have revealed that she’ll pop up in episode 8×03, “Leap of Faith.”

Capping drips and drabs on the Bts photo front (in which two or a few actors posed together), an especially super group shot has surfaced from the Arrrowverse‘s “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover event.
Though its origin has yet to be confirmed, the on-set photo — taken aboard Legends of Tomorrow‘s Waverider — features 11 cast members representing Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends and new invitee, Black Lightning. It also offers a first look at two new characters, Pariah and Ryan Choi.

It’s not hard to figure that it might be easy to lose a person in the mix every now and then, but a lot of actors tend to draw notice after a while if they can hang in there and make themselves be noticed. Audrey Marie Anderson is one such individual that has been at it for a while and knows how the game is played since she’s been doing her thing for enough years to understand it. If you don’t know the name don’t worry too much since she’s been a supporting character and has been front and center

If anything, the past couple weeks have been huge for news pertaining to “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” I mean, not only did we get our first look at Brandon Routh in his Kingdom Come Superman costume, but it was also confirmed that Birds of Prey‘s Ashley Scott will return as the Huntress.
On top of that, it’s been revealed that Arrow‘s Audrey Marie Anderson will play a pivotal role in the crossover event as well. As it turns out, Lyla Michaels’ code name of “Harbinger” will finally be paid off at long last. Having been introduced during the show’s first season, I’d never thought her character would go to the logical sci-fi extent and instead exist as a nice nod to her comic book counterpart, but here we are.

If you’re going to do right by DC Comics’ “Crisis on Infinite Earths” saga, you need the Monitor, yes. But you also need a Harbinger at his side. And now, it has been confirmed that Lyla Michaels, a character who has been played on Arrow over the years by Audrey Marie Anderson, will fill that role in the Arrowverse‘s next, five-part crossover.
We say “confirmed” because while it did seem that Oliver Queen, in fulfilling his deal with the Monitor, might serve as an ersatz Harbinger, the fact is that in the comic books Lyla Michaels became Harbinger,...

Arrow has cast Charlie Barnett as the adult version of JJ, Diggle and Lyla's Flashpoint-born son
While it might feel like Arrow is getting ready to say goodbye with its final, 10-episode season starting this fall, there’s still time to say hello to at least one new face. At Comic Con, Arrow’s producers announced that we’re finally going to see JJ, John Diggle’s (David Ramsey) son, in Arrow’s flash-forwards, played by Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll, Tales of the City).
So far, we’ve only met JJ (short for John Jr.) in the present tense where he’s a baby. JJ is a living artifact of the Flashpoint storyline. In the original timeline, Diggle and Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) had a daughter they named Sara, after Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) who was – at the time – deceased. Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin...

Charlie Barnett is joining the cast of “Arrow” in its eighth and final season in the role of John Diggle Jr, Warner Bros. Television announced Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con.

Thrilling as the current season of Arrow has proven to be, fans who grew accustomed to seeing Oliver Queen flanked by other costumed heroes on the streets of Star City have probably felt like something important’s been missing. In fact, I have to admit that I’d like to see such a thing again after being spoiled in the years prior.
From the look of it, we’ll slowly but surely get there again. Don’t forget, Dinah Drake is putting her Black Canary mask back on for the upcoming Birds of Prey-inspired “Lost Canary,” and John Diggle, meanwhile, will apparently do likewise not long after.
Thanks to executive producer and showrunner Beth Schwartz, we’re able to admire the cover to episode 5×19’s teleplay. As you can see in the image found below, it reveals the title to be “Spartan,” which is certainly good news for fans of that persona.

It really wasn’t that long ago when we were all speculating the identity of the new Emerald Archer in Star City. Fortunately, she was unmasked before Arrow took its winter hiatus. Then, when the show returned with its midseason premiere, we learned that her name is, in fact, Emiko Queen.
Since the big reveal, Oliver has done all he can to get to know his estranged sister. Still, it’s been a struggle, because she was forever hurt by their father running out on her. But to the delight of Ollie, she’s slowly gaining the ability to let him in.
From the look of it, the aptly titled “Brothers & Sisters” may see some sort of occurrence force the two to accelerate their timetable by working together on a case. If that ends up being true, I wouldn’t want to be the criminal forced to contend with two Green Arrows.

The midseason finale of Arrow season 7 dropped a major bombshell that’ll change the Queen family forever, as it revealed that the new Green Arrow who’d taken over from Oliver during his incarceration was actually Emiko Queen, the long-lost half-sister he never knew he had.
The recent midseason premiere then fleshed out Emiko’s character somewhat, with the original Emerald Archer discovering about her existence for the first time. But how did things move on from here? Well, the promo for next week’s episode, “Past Sins,” teases that Oliver will try and extend an olive branch to Emiko, apologizing for how their father treated her. However, Emiko has grown up hating the Queens, so it doesn’t look like it’s going to be that easy to bury the hatchet, especially while she’s busy burying arrows in bad guys.

Several familiar foes from the Emerald Archer’s past are returning for an upcoming episode of Arrow season 7. The show will be back from its midseason break this Monday, which will be episode 7×10, and then the week after we have 7×11 – titled “Past Sins” – to look forward to. And the best part is is that it’ll feature a number of faces that fans should recognize.
Namely, we’ll see the return of Ricardo Diaz, the crime boss only recently defeated in the last half of the season, Kane Wolfman Aka Joe Wilson, Deathstroke’s son, deadly assassin China White and lovesick archer Cupid. The reason for their comeback is because A.R.G.U.S. has enlisted them for its rebooted version of the Suicide Squad, now renamed The Ghost Initiative (no doubt the more familiar name is off-limits due to Warner Bros. working on a Suicide Squad sequel).

With Arrow‘s midseason premiere set to debut one week from tonight, it’s probably safe to say that most of us are looking forward to learning more about Oliver Queen’s estranged sister. After all, it wasn’t revealed until the appropriately titled “Unmasked” that she’s been the new Emerald Archer prowling Star City for the past few months. In fact, recent promo materials have promised we’ll be seeing much more of her in the very near future.
All that awesomeness aside, I, for one, am also excited to see Ollie going toe to toe with supervillains now that he’s out of prison. Most fortunate for those who share that sentiment, episode 7×11, “Past Sins,” will deliver the goods – and with a vengeance, it seems.

This past summer, the producers of Arrow held their cards incredibly close to the vest. Basically, all we knew going into season 7 was that Oliver Queen would remain in prison for some time and that a new Emerald Archer had shown up in town.
But now, as we inch closer toward the second half of that same season, one could argue we know even less about what the future holds. Granted, we do have the matter of the new Green Arrow being unmasked as Ollie’s estranged sister – not to mention the O.G. himself now being sanctioned by the Star City Police Department – but the next few weeks remain a mystery of sorts.
