In a career spanning two decades, Ross Weintraub has overseen hundreds of series for broadcast, cable and streaming platforms, domestically and internationally, and more than $700 million in production.
Weintraub is CEO of 3BMG (3 Ball Media Group), which houses a content and production enterprise that incubates, fosters and supports the growth and vision of both well-established and emerging producers. Through a series of partnerships and joint ventures, the company offers an environment where creators can flourish as entrepreneurs under one collective banner. Currently, 3BMG encompasses Jeff Jenkins Productions; Parabolic Content; Lost Arts Entertainment; Cedarwood Park Entertainment; and 3 Ball Productions, with others in process. As CEO, Weintraub oversees the company's entire roster of production labels and their respective projects, serving as a business and creative partner to the label presidents. He is also responsible for all strategic development and operations at 3BMG.
Prior to creating and launching 3BMG, Weintraub was CEO of 3 Ball Entertainment (now 3 Ball Productions), the pioneering production shop behind some of unscripted's most successful series, including NBC's The Biggest Loser (first 11 seasons), the CW's seminal Beauty and The Geek, ABC's Extreme Weight Loss, and Paramount Network's Bar Rescue, among many others.
Weintraub previously was chief operating officer of Eyeworks USA, where he launched and ran the company's international distribution business and oversaw operations and business development. He also was SVP at Nash Entertainment, handling all finance and operations for the company's then-100 hours of annual programming.
