Patrick (Benjamin Schwinn) shoves two arms full of snacks in the open window of an old Renault that definitely won’t be passing inspection (if it even arrives to its appointment on-time) and kisses Diana (Sara Summa) goodbye as she, her brother (Robin Summa’s Arthur), and her son (Lupo Piero Summa’s Lupo) ride away to Paris from Berlin. It’s an authentic introduction to the entertaining mundanity of fulfilling an obligation these siblings feel to their now-deceased father. This was the car from their childhood––perhaps ensuring it can live on will help them move forward past their own petty grievances with each other.
Written and directed by Sara Summa as an auto-fictional road trip with her real-life brother, Arthur&Diana sees the pair together for what might be the longest time in years––ever since Diana left home to start her life in Berlin, leaving Arthur in...

For decades, fans have struggled to lay out the Legend of Zelda series’ chronology. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild didn’t help matters as it introduced a Hyrule ravaged by Calamity Ganon. Nobody really knew which part of the timeline the game fit into; just that it took place in the far future of one of them.
The latest Legend of Zelda game, Tears of the Kingdom, is a sequel to Breath of the Wild. The game’s first teaser trailer stated that fact quite blunty, so clearly Tears of the Kingdom must take place after Breath of the Wild. For the most part, that does seem to be the case. Many characters from Breath of the Wild return in this game slightly older and slightly different than they were before. Heck, Hyrule now has a newspaper, so several years have clearly passed. Of course, none of...

After uncovering archival footage filmed by her psychologist father in ‘90s Germany, director Zora Kuettner began investigating his radical treatment of mental illness, and the stories she spent her entire life listening to. The result is “Don’t Call Me Mad,” an examination of not only Dr. Kuettner’s visionary treatment methods, but how his past influenced his relationship with his daughter.
The project, selected as part of the IDFA Forum Pitch program, is Kuettner’s first feature film and is produced by BFI Vision Award-winning Loran Dunn of Delaval Film, and executive produced by Charlie Phillips, former head of video at the Guardian, and Sandpaper Film’s Henry Singer.
“I think this film has always been inside of me and now felt like the right moment to make it happen,” Kuettner says. “I believe that, as a woman, if you are even remotely organized and have a good head on your shoulders,...
