- [making movies] Most of the challenges to filmmaking have to do with time and money and there is never enough of either unless there is too much of both, so the genre of movie doesn't change that too much.
- To have somebody ask you about your film career is always a little bit staggering, cuz you're like, "Is this really enough of a moneymaker to be called a career?"
- I have this saying that every movie ever made is both the best movie ever made to somebody (aside from the filmmaker or their mother), and every movie is the worst film ever made to somebody. I've rarely found a movie that doesn't have somebody on either end of that crazy spectrum.
