As much as we love television, not everything makes the grade.
It can be difficult when a show we love betrays its characters for the sake of drama or when certain aspects feel phoned-in.
From awful characters, overly traumatic plotlines, terrible episodes, and more -- sometimes we have to call it as we see it.
The Orville: New Horizons Season 3 Episode 4 - "Gently Falling Rain" (Hulu)
Of the numerous problematic plot lines The Orville introduced, the Planetary Union's interactions with the Krill are the worst.
Specifically, Captain Mercer commits mass murder aboard a Krill ship, then unknowingly becomes emotionally and physically involved with a Krill spy, and then tops it off with some general war crimes.
As if that wasn't enough, the writers somehow thought adding a child to the mix was a good idea -- one born of Mercer and Teleya's relationship before she was revealed to be a Krill survivor of the Yakar.

Joining the cast of an already established show can be overwhelming and intimidating. However, when Theodore Bhat earned a recurring role on In The Dark during the show’s second season, he had no trouble fitting in with the rest of the cast. His character, Josh Wallace, quickly found himself wrapped up in Murphy’s spell, and within no time, he found himself feeling used like everyone else in her life. Now a series regular on the show, Theodore has shown that he deserves all of the additional screen time he’s gotten, and many viewers are sad to see the show coming

The CW’s In the Dark — despite learning that Season 4 would be its farewell run just weeks ahead of the premiere — will give loyal fans a “satisfying” send-off, says series creator Corinne Kingsbury.
Over the drama series’ first three seasons, Murphy Mason (played by Perry Mattfeld) went from lazy receptionist to drunken vigilante detective, drug front proprietor and a woman-on-the-run. In Season 4 (now airing Mondays at 9/8c), Murphy has worked closely with her ex, Max (Casey Deidrick), best friend Felix (Morgan Krantz) and his sister Lesley (Marianne Rendón) to keep herself out of jail for her assorted crimes.

We don't have to wonder about the future of the In the Dark TV series. The CW show has already been cancelled so there won't be a fifth season. Could the drama be revived someday? Stay tuned.
A crime drama series, the In the Dark TV show stars Perry Mattfeld, Casey Deidrick, Morgan Krantz, Marianne Rendon, Theodore Bhat, Matt Murray, and Ana Ayora. In the series, Murphy (Mattfeld) is a messy twenty-something who struggles on a daily basis to balance her random hookups, her hangovers, and her drug front. She's also blind. In season four, Murphy must work closely with her ex, Max (Deidrick), her best friend Felix (Krantz), and his sister Lesley (Rendon) to keep herself out of jail for her crimes. But staying out of jail proves more difficult than expected when Josh Wallace (Bhat), a Chicago Pd consultant and Murphy’s...

Grimmfest have today announced the launch of their Grimmfest Easter Edition, a new annual event taking place over the Easter Weekend, and complimenting the long-established festival in October.
Easter is traditionally a time for rebirth, renewal, resurrection. But as the Pandemic continues to rage, and the world remains on lockdown for the foreseeable future, it is also a time for rethinking. Thus, while the Grimmfest team had hoped to be hosting a ‘live’ Easter event, instead, the Grimmfest Easter Edition will be taking place online, and will build on the success of Grimmfest 2020 online experience.
The festival will open on Thursday April 1st with our preview night that will feature the UK premiere of Kourosh Ahari’s surreal and sulphurous Iranian American haunted hotel horror The Night, which has already earned deserved comparisons to Kubrick’s The Shining, alongside the UK premiere of Lluis Danes’ visually ravishing reimagining of the...

Punk band Dropkick Murphys formed in Massachusetts in the '90s, long celebrating their love for the city of Boston with live albums nodding to Fenway Park and singles with names like "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" and "The State of Massachusetts." So when two explosions at this week's Boston Marathon injured dozens of victims, the band members mobilized, doing their part to help their beloved city.
Dropkick Murphys, made up of Ken Casey, Matt Kelly, Al Barr, James Lynch, Tim Brennan, Josh Wallace, and Jeff DaRosa, began marketing a "For Boston" t-shirt on their band's website, pledging all proceeds from the shirt sales to victims of the bombings, writing, "100 percent of all proceeds from this shirt will go directly to the victims and families of the Boston bombings." The band was able to reach $65,000 in the first 15 hours of sales, approaching the $100,000 mark soon after.
