- Marina von Ditmar was born on October 30, 1914 in Petrograd, Russian Empire [now St. Petersburg, Russia]. She was an actress, known for The Csardas Princess (1934), G.P.U. (1942) and The Divine Jetta (1937). She was married to Hans-Georg Dehnhardt. She died on September 3, 2014 in Bad Kissingen, Bavaria, Germany.

- German-Estonian-Livonian leading lady of the 1930's and 40's, descendant from an aristocratic lineage. Trained under Lucie Höflich and Ilka Grüning and on the stage with the ensemble of the Alten Theater in Leipzig from 1937 to 1940. Also in films from 1937, she appeared in thrillers, period dramas and comedies, as well as several NS propaganda pictures. At her peak with Universum AG (Ufa), she earned up to 400 Reichsmark per week. Marina retired from acting after 1951. She married a leading physician and owner of a sanatorium in Bad Kissingen, which paved the way for contacts and connections to prominent figures in royal circles, politics, arts and entertainment.
