- Alla Sizova was born on September 22, 1939 in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR. She was an actress, known for The Sleeping Beauty (1964) and When the Spirit Soars in Flight (1959). She was married to Mikhail Serebrennikov. She died on November 23, 2014 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

- She was one of the leading ballerinas of the Kirov Ballet (now the Maryinsky) during the 1960s and '70s. She was often paired with Rudolf Nureyev during their first years at the Kirov.
- After the war, she attended an after-school dance program. Her talent was noticed, and she was accepted at the prestigious Leningrad Choreographic School.
- During her first three years with the Kirov Ballet, she performed at least 14 principal roles, including Masha in "The Nutcracker," Princess Florine and Aurora in "The Sleeping Beauty," and Myrtha in "Giselle".
- She was born in Moscow soon after Germany invaded Poland. Her family moved to Leningrad, but in 1941, Alla and her sister were evacuated with their mother to the Ural region. Her father remained in Leningrad, which by then was under siege by German forces, to work as a driver delivering bread. The family was reunited in Leningrad toward the end of WWII.
