The 40-year-old Australian television presenter, who has sons Andrew and Charlie with husband James Pettit, says that she believes her children will forgive her for sometimes devoting time to her career. Rowntree, who presents travel show Getaway, is scheduled to travel to Queensland on assignment this week. However, she added that she has not yet decided whether or not she will be able to take her family on upcoming trips to the Black Sea and France. She told the Herald Sun: "I don't know yet if it's with the hubby and sons, but I'm not sure how my heart will do it. I know my boys will still love me [even if I don't take them]." (more)...

Wilkinson, who has hosted Today alongside Gold Logie winner Karl Stefanovic for the past four years, is believed to have expressed interest in taking a new television role, according to The Daily Telegraph. Rumours of Kennerley quitting her show first surfaced when she took some time off last month and was temporarily replaced by Getaway star Catriona Rowntree. Kerri-Anne Kennerley has hit back at reports that she is quitting her TV show. The Australian television star, who has hosted breakfast programme Mornings with Kerri-Anne for eight years, was rumoured to be quitting her job and being replaced by Catriona Rowntree. The speculation arose when Kennerley went on holiday shortly after reported meetings with bosses about the future of the show. She has now told the Herald Sun that she only "abruptly" took leave because talks about the series stalled and she needed a break. "Clearly it hasn't been a very positive week and quite honestly I'm a bit [sick] of it," she said. Kennerley said that she went to the Hunter Valley and enjoyed a break at the Golden Door retreat, adding: "They don't roll over [annual (more)...

Catriona Rowntree has quashed speculation that she is joining Kerri-Anne Kennerley's morning show. The Getaway presenter, who has two children with husband James Pettit, was believed to be either teaming up with Kennerley or taking over Mornings with Kerri-Anne after being asked to host the programme in her absence this week. However, Rowntree has insisted that she has enough on her plate with her Geelong farm, family and Getaway and will not be joining the show. She told The Daily Telegraph: "I know there's a lot of talk at the moment but all I know is that I got a call asking to fill in and there's not much else to it. People aren't aware how hard Kerri-Anne works - hers is a full-on gig. She's on a well-earned break. "And the reality is I live on a farm and I have two little boys. Even if anything did eventuate,...

According to the Herald Sun, rumours have now surfaced that Kennerley is arguing with management over the renewal of her $$500,000 (£323,000) contract with the TV channel and is said to be frustrated with the constant changes in the show's format. Nine producers are believed to be concerned that Mornings with Kerri-Anne is consistently dropping in viewer ratings and are considering introducing a new presenting duo to the programme.
