- Reva Rose was born on July 30, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She is an actress and writer, known for If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium (1969), Drop Dead Fred (1991) and The New Temperatures Rising Show (1972).
- Probably best-known for her portrayal of "Lucy" in the off-Broadway 1967 musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", that also showcased Gary Burghoff in the lead role (pre-M*A*S*H). She and Skip Hinnant, who played piano-plucking "Schroeder" in the G-rated musical, then went on to voice lead roles in the originally X-rated film cartoon The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat (1974).
- Plaintive, dark-haired American comedy character actress of TV and commercials who played drab Jewish ladies -- often irritable or bossy.
- Was spotted extensively in television commercials throughout the 1960s, her most famous being an Alka-Seltzer commercial, where she plays a newlywed unable to cook, screaming "Poached oysters!" from a recipe book -- causing her new husband to return to the bathroom.
