- His son Sir Peter Rawlinson QC became a successful lawyer and politician. He served as the British Attorney-General throughout the Heath Government (1970-1974) and as MP for Epsom & Ewell (1955-1974). He was created a life peer upon his retirement from the House of Commons and he is now known as the Lord Rawlinson of Ewell.
