Jackass star Steve-o continues to outdo himself and this time he was in London performing a stunt that ended up getting him detained by local authorities. The television personality jumped off the Tower Bridge promoting a comedy special and detailed what happened.
“I was detained by police after doing this jump off the Tower Of London Bridge yesterday, but they were totally cool, and understood that I’m just super excited to be taping my Third (and craziest by far) comedy special on Friday, July 14 in London (where I was born!),” Steve-o shared on Instagram.
Steve-o called the day “epic” that allegedly saw him getting interrogated by police.

The Jackass series debuted on MTV in 2000, quickly becoming one of the most popular television shows. It followed the antics of a group of friends as they engaged in outrageous stunts, pranks, and dangerous physical challenges. The show cast included Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-o, Chris Pontius, Wee Man, Dave England, Preston Lacy, and Ryan Dunn.
Despite parental and political worries about the show’s potential impact on younger viewers, it quickly skyrocketed in popularity. After three seasons of wading through constant censorship notes from MTV, Knoxville and his pals decided to end their run; thus began, Jackass’ successful transition to the silver screen era.
The Jackass franchise spawned several movies that were released between 2002 and 2022, in the following order:

Former Jackass star Bam Margera has reportedly been rushed to hospital with a “very serious” case of pneumonia.
The stunt performer and skateboarder is reported to have tested positive for Covid while in hospital, and is currently on a ventilator.
A report inTMZ citing “sources close to the situation” claims that Margera is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU of a San Diego hospital.
His condition, however, is said to be stable.
The Independent has contacted a representative of Margera for comment and confirmation.
Last year, Margera entered a 12-month drug and alcohol treatment programme.
Alongside Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, Chris Pontius and others, Margera was one of the original members of the Jackass crew, performing stunts in the MTV series and subsequent film adaptations.
However, Margera did not feature in the recent sequel, Jackass Forever, and claimed that he had been fired partway through production after failing a drugs test.

Even a global pandemic or a 12-year break couldn’t stop these adrenaline junkies at the box office. The fourth main edition in the long-running brand, Jackass Forever, was a huge box office hit on its opening weekend. After 12 years, Johnny Knoxville, Stevo-o Jackass, Chris Pontius, and the rest of the Jackass cast names returned to the big screen for another round of reckless shenanigans. The film not only exceeded predictions, but it also substantially outperformed its direct competitors. Before its premiere, it was unclear whether Jackass’ idea of already mature guys purposefully injuring themselves had come to a close

Don't break out your Party Boy panties and your camcorders just yet, "Jackass" fans — the beloved series is not getting a revival as previously reported. There is still some great new content headed our way from the crew behind the franchise, but it's not going to be more "Jackass." In a soon-to-be published interview with /Film's Ethan Anderton to promote his upcoming Hulu series, "Reboot," "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville explained that there have been some misunderstandings with regards to the future of all things "Jackass." Indeed, "Jackass Forever" was likely the nail in the coffin for that particular brand of humorous hijinks.
With the guys getting older and recovery from injuries taking longer (and far more dangerous), it's really not a huge shock that "Jackass" isn't coming back. For those of us who love the guys and don't want to see them disappear completely, however, the good news is that...

"I feel like everybody knew him except me." HBO has unveiled an official trailer for an indie film titled My Dead Dad, marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Fabio Frey. It's co-written and produced by Pedro Correa, who also stars in it as the main character. It premiered at the 2021 Woodstock Film Festival last year, and screened at numerous other fests including Austin, Mill Valley, and Filmocracy Fest where it won the Audience Award. A burnout discovers his estranged father has died, leaving him the responsibility of managing an apartment complex. With hopes of cutting ties, he's forced to grow up, learning about the dad he never knew through the eclectic tenants. Starring Pedro Correa with Raymond Cruz, Courtney Dietz, Simon Rex, Booboo Stewart, Steven Bauer, Chris Pontius, Nicholas Duvernay, and Nate Jackson. This would probably be a bit better if it had more humor in it, as this trailer seems so depressing.

Jackass is making a comeback to the small screen.
Paramount+ has ordered a new series following the success of the movie Jackass Forever.
“Based off the success of ‘Jackass Forever,’ we’re working with the creators to continue the partnership with a new series, bringing even more ridiculous antics straight to Paramount+,” Paramount Global CEO Bob Bakish said Tuesday, according to Variety.

The movie grossed 80 million from a 10 million budget and found itself on Paramount+ shortly after release.
The franchise kicked off on MTV as a TV series, and now, it looks like Paramount+ thinks a new series will be the best foot forward for the franchise.

The tagline for Jackass Forever reads, “Some people never learn.” Thank goodness for that, because if they did, we wouldn’t have had this fourth instalment in the series, twelve years after Jackass 3D. You might have thought that Johnny Knoxville and the rest of the Jackass crew were getting a bit too old to be performing painful, stupid and life-endangering stunts of this magnitude, but oh no – they’re back and they’re as willing to seriously injure themselves for our entertainment as they ever were.

Earlier this year we saw Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Preston Lacy, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, and other new “Jackass” members return for the fourth installment, “Jackass Forever.” With every film installment, there is plenty of extra footage or various comedic bits that don’t make the theatrical cut, and there is normally a lot of good stuff left on the cutting room floor that ends up being put into a follow-up feature-length project.

If you felt yourself mourning the end of "Jackass" following the completion of "Jackass Forever," don't waste your tears because this ain't the end of the line for our favorite group of doofuses. More than 20 years ago, MTV debuted a little show late at night featuring a collection of gnarly dudes doing stupid stunts and pranking one another. That series, "Jackass," went on to be a global phenomenon, so far spawning four theatrically released films, the spin-off films of "Bad Grandpa," a handful of straight-to-video sequels, several spin-off shows including "Wildboyz," "Viva la Bam," and "Homewrecker," and more. The antics of a group of skateboarders and professional knuckleheads became an indelible part of pop culture. The road has been hard, and it has been long, but the cast members of "Jackass" have plenty of...

Jackass. With the triumphant return of the Jackass gang, one of the few true events of theatrical moviegoing in the pandemic era, the franchise built on absurd stunts, crass hijinks, and bruised cocks has at last been seriously accepted as the masterful trash it’s always been. Although much Jackass analysis revolves around the on-screen content—from the cinematic form of bold stunts to the interpersonal dynamics and bodies of the cast—the uniquely digital nature of the series is central to its reclamation. It’s that ramshackle camcorder aesthetic, bordering on snuff compared to glossy Hollywood productions, that gives the film series part of its distinct appeal. As much as the naked bodies and buttholes, the illicit sensation of going to a multiplex to watch MiniDV tape makes the first Jackass movie what it is—even as the image resolution and budget have increased, there’s an intimacy and...

A staple of the comedy genre has forever been watching people get hurt, and nowhere is this more evident than in the continuing legacy of the “Jackass” franchise.
What started as a MTV reality series in which various jackasses performed increasingly stupid stunts for the benefit of the cameras before them eventually evolved into a four-film movie franchise spanning two entire decades.
“Jackass: The Movie” was released in theaters in 2002 and was intended to be the conclusion to “Jackass” – a feature film capper after a three-season run on TV. But after grossing nearly $80 million on a budget of just $5 million, “Jackass” the movie franchise was born.
Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-o, Chris Pontius and many, many more continued to make fools of themselves for the camera in three additional feature films released across the next 20 years.

Ready to get kicked in the face by an annoyed donkey?
This is the question that many “Jackass” stars have faced over the years, first on the beloved MTV prank show and then in the series of increasingly ridiculous (and weirdly endearing) movies. It was, in a weird way, a battle of the independents this weekend at the box office, with two unusual (and preposterous) movies duking it out for the top spot. Both involved men hurling across the sky, and audiences chose the one without greenscreen.
The victor was the fourth in the Jackass series (sixth if you count the two “Jackass Presents” movies), “Jackass Forever.” The Jeff Tremaine-directed collection of stunts, gross-outs, and male bonding, co-produced by Spike Jonze and Jackass leader Johnny Knoxville, earned $23.5 million at the domestic box office, beating Patrick Wilson and Halle Berry in “Moonfall,” which had a dismal showing at around $10 million.
“Jackass Forever” and its low-fidelity gag reel, with its homespun aesthetic (save for an elaborate opening bit involving kaiju tropes and Chris Pontius’s sex organ) cost but a mere $10 million, forever staying true to its indie, up-from-skater-culture roots. Paramount’s new Jackass Forever film has drawn condemnation from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which called for a criminal investigation into the production.
The film was released this week and so far has grossed an estimated $20 million. The sequel to 2010’s Jackass 3D, it is the fourth main installment and the fifth overall installment in the Jackass film series.
PETA claimed a stunt in which Johnny Knoxville and Steve-o provoke honeybees into stinging Steve-o’s penis (killing many of them), and another in which a scorpion is put in someone’s mouth and hit repeatedly until the animal stings are particularly worrisome.
The organization has sent letters to Los Angeles city and San Luis Obispo County prosecutors about the matter. PETA points out that the Paramount Pictures movie—which appears to have been filmed at least partially in Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo County—likely broke state animal protection laws.

“Jackass Forever,” the return of Johnny Knoxville and company’s absurd and R-rated prank and stunt show to the big screen, brought in $1.65 million at the box office in its Thursday box office previews from approximately 2,650 locations and screenings starting at 7:00 p.m. It opens on approximately 3,590 screens this weekend.
Paramount and MTV Entertainment’s “Jackass Forever” kicks off February and what is hopefully the start of signs of more life at the box office, and it also opens alongside another studio film, Lionsgate’s release of “Moonfall,” a disaster epic from Roland Emmerich.
“Moonfall” in its Thursday previews managed to bring in $700,000 from around 2,300 locations.
The early total for “Jackass Forever” was hampered when just under 300 locations were closed on Thursday due to the major snow storms that moved through the Midwest and on into the northeast, though most of those theaters, if not all, are expected to...

Paramount Picitures’ non-fiction comedy Jackass Forever heads the new openers at the UK-Ireland box office this weekend, on a busy weekend that also features sci-fi Moonfall, festival favourite The Souvenir Part II and anime Belle.
The fifth theatrically-released film in the Jackass franchise, Jackass Forever reunites Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, Chris Pontius and the gang of miscreants for what they claim is their final outing under the Jackass name; although this was previously asserted after the 2002 first film, Jackass: The Movie.

After a sleepy January mostly dominated by Spider-Man: No Way Home taking victory laps after its explosive December opening, February looks to be considerably more eventful. The star-powered slate includes a franchise follow-up (Death on the Nile) and a potential franchise starter (Uncharted) mixed in with a musical rom-com (Marry Me) and a comedy (Dog) to round things out, not to mention a potential boost to the specialty market once the Oscar nominations come out. The month should get off to a solid start this weekend with the latest Roland Emmerich disaster epic Moonfall and the return of the Jackass gang in Jackass Forever.
It may be a close match, but the weekend will likely go to Jackass Forever. Paramount is releasing the film on 3,600 screens and is expecting a gross in the mid-teens for the series’ fourth film (fifth when you count the associated Bad Grandpa). That would make...

It’s no longer a shock, or even much of a surprise, to see full-frontal male nudity in a reckless youth comedy. But in “Jackass Forever,” it’s not just that there’s a whole lotta full frontal; by the end of the film, the nutsacks of half the cast members have begun to feel like family. The movie opens with a “Godzilla” parody, in which the residents of New York run screaming from the sight of a hulking dino reptile. Except that the shots of the giant beast were created on a miniature mock-up of Manhattan, and the green lizard king — as we’re shown in a setup shot — is actually the penis and scrotum of Chris Pontius, bedecked with a fake head and platelets. When people talk about the glory of experiencing movies on the big screen, I’m not sure if having this thing in your face...

Down with the patriarchy! Unless, of course, they themselves are down with torturing each other for our amusement, in which case, welcome back, Johnny Knoxville and Friends!
A dignity massacre just in time for St. Valentine’s Day, the sociological documentary “Jackass Forever” is an all-new collection of raucously perilous prankery from its modern masters, twelve years after the last one (“Jackass 3D”).
One can only assume the long pause was to give the gang a chance to get their nerve back up, while roping in diverse new comrades to the comedic possibilities of extreme, how-is-this-insurable slapstick.
To put it bluntly: If this is for you, it’s hilarious; if it’s not for you, it’s still hilarious. Just stay away. It’s been a hard couple of years dealing with an unseen menace, so there should be no shame in the cathartic laughter to be found in a...

From his Oscar-nominated turns in “Coming Home” and “Nebraska” to his frequent collaborations with Quentin Tarantino, Bruce Dern has accomplished a lot in his six decade Hollywood career. But one accomplishment has still evaded him: appearing in a “Jackass” movie. As it turns out, the legendary actor recently tried to rectify that, reaching out to Johnny Knoxville about a potential cameo in the upcoming “Jackass Forever.”
In an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show” this week, Knoxville told the shock jock that Dern’s representatives contacted him to express the “Nebraska” star’s interest in the “Jackass” franchise. While Knoxville says he would have loved to cast Dern, the timing was unfortunately not right, as “Jackass Forever” had already wrapped production at the time.

Johnny Knoxville has spent two decades getting smacked by bulls, blasted with riot gear and knocked out by Butterbean. So entering the world of WWE is nothing to him.
On Sunday, Knoxville will join the Royal Rumble, WWE’s annual showdown where 30 wrestlers compete for a spot in the main event of Wrestlemania. The 50-year-old “Jackass” star is only the second celeb to take part after Drew Carey entered — and then quickly exited — the match back in 2003.
When talking to TheWrap about the match and his new movie, “Jackass Forever,” Knoxville was filled with the trademark bravado that he’s always used to build anticipation for the inevitable, painful pratfalls of his stunts. Just before getting body checked by an All-Pro NFL player, he told him, “Don’t hit me with your purse,” and now he’s more than happy to trash the entire WWE roster.
“I’ve seen these so-called ‘superstars.

Steve-o is finally detailing how his famous fishy stunt came to be, ahead of “Jackass Forever” hitting theaters February 4. Thanks to four new episodes of MTV’s “Ridiculousness,” featuring the original Jackass team, fans are learning the truth about their favorite pranks.
Steve-o shot to fame with his “The Goldfish” talent, showcasing a puke-tastic party trick in “Jackass the Series.” “This was an idea that I saved for a special occasion,” Steve-o said in an exclusive sneak peek. “I thought it was going to be a real banger.”
The goldfish survived Steve-o swallowing it and then throwing it back up again. Some could even say the goldfish thrived: “It came out swimming,” Steve-o remembers with a laugh.
He adds, “I’ll never forget after this, [creator Johnny] Knoxville said, ‘Well Steve-o, if you’re not already famous, you’re gonna be now.'”

As the star of “Jackass,” the MTV series born in 2000 that turned into a blockbuster movie franchise, Johnny Knoxville has badly injured every part of his body, from his head to his limbs to his — uh, groin area. But while making “Jackass Forever,” the fourth Paramount film that follows a beloved ensemble of dudes (and one woman) who attempt painful stunts involving blunt objects and dangerous animals, Knoxville finally hit a wall. Or rather, a bull — it ran him over.
Knoxville had been building toward the no-holds-barred stunt for weeks while shooting the movie, which opens in theaters on Feb. 4. “I was trying to do a magic trick in a bull ring,” Knoxville explains over a breakfast in West Hollywood in December, days before omicron made people go into hiding again. “I wanted to prank an animal, and that’s what we came up with.” But the bull didn’t find the joke funny,...

While the pandemic caused the delay of Jackass Forever last fall, it looks like even with Omicron on the rise, Paramount is pushing forward with an early February release for what will presumably be the gang’s final outing. After Bad Trip landed on our top 50 films of last year, which Jeff Tremaine produced, he’s back in the director’s chair and now one last trailer has landed.
Featuring the return of Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Danger Ehren, Preston Lacy, and more, their fourth, ball-busting feature is among our most-anticipated of the year. Judging from the trailer, it will be quite a hilarious and even a bit wistful of a reunion as Knoxville and crew reckon with the limits of our mortal bodies.

Ahead of the Paramount Pictures release of “Jackass Forever” on February 4 next year, the slapstick reality film directed by Jeff Tremaine is already in hot water. Paramount Pictures has released the first official trailer for “Jackass Forever,” the fourth film installment of the bone-smacking prankster comedy franchise pioneered by Johnny Knoxville. Though filming had to shut down for a week due to concerns about Covid-19, “Jackass Forever” is probably the only recent movie to incur more delays from hospitalizations for broken bones than a deadly virus. Just two days into filming, both Knoxville and Steve-o were hospitalized due to on-set injuries. Two days into test filming, and professional skateboarder Aaron “Jaws” Homoki had broken his wrist.
