- For more than 25 years, Mr. Perry has worked as an Actor in several feature films, television shows, and theatre.
Two years ago Mr. Perry decided to develop his own feature film project to direct and began working on "Alice In The Land of Milk & Honey," for the screen. After completing the script he met up with film producer, Pliny Porter and he read it. After working on several drafts with Mr. Porter we knew we had something very special.
Mr. Perry has written television pilots and reality shows which were presented to major studios. As well as competing for the coveted role of shadowing director with award winning director and executive producer, Kevin Hooks of ABC's City of Angels, N.Y.P.D, FOX's Prison Break and 911.
Early on in Mr. Perry's career he decided to go back to college and attend, The City University of New York studying film and screenwriting.
In between acting gigs and college, Mr. Perry took a part-time job at a New York subsidiary of Kodak and Fiji film selling 35mm film to movie studios and top directors and producers. That's where he met Producer and Director Paris Barclay. Mr. Perry persuaded Mr. Barclay to letting him represent his production company, Black & White Television. He meet with record company executives in order to secure bankable big budget music video deals with top recording artists. He later executive produced music videos, on behalf of the company.
He would later graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In his senior year he starred in and co-produced a thesis film entitled "Familiar Differences" that won all three Diamond Awards for Directing, Acting, and Best Short Film in his senior year. It didn't long for him to head to Los Angeles, to study directing at the American Film Institute.
Highlights in film include...The Message, Warriors, Jacobs Ladder, and starring opposite Michael Jackson and Wesley Snipes in the Martin Scorsese film, BAD. Mr. Perry also studied method acting with Lee Strasberg at the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute and HB Studios in New York.
He was placed in a recurring role on New York Undercover working Fox Television with Dick Wolf while pursuing other guest appearances on network television.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Jaime S. Perry

- After casting Bad with Michael Jackson, Jaime Perry starring as ski in the 19 minute film directed by Martin Scorsese, was given by Michael an all access VIP pass to watch Jackson perform all over the country with private limo's and bodyguards. MJ also thought when they first met that Jaime and Wesley Snipes were both rappers. He also asked what was it like to ride the subway.
- At a young age Jaime began his acting career at the Joseph Papps, New York Shakespeare Public Theatre. In his first play, entitled, "Runaways", by Elizabeth Swados, he starred opposite Diane Lane, and Trini Alvarado. Diane Lane was only 12 at the time and instead of going to Broadway with the cast went on to do movies.
