Michael was born just outside of Boston to Ned and Gloria Peluso, both
Italian Americans. His father was a firefighter and painter and his
mother was a homemaker. He has two older sisters; each with two
children.
At the age of 34, Michael enrolled in the BFA Theater Arts program at
Salem State College. While there, he was in 2 shows and was nominated
both times as an alternate for the Irene Ryan Acting Award.
Before acting, he was a Ski Representative and traveled extensively
throughout the Northeastern U.S. It was then that a mentor encouraged
him to pursue acting stating, "you're in the wrong business".
While shooting Title to Murder in 1999, he was signed by Maggie Models
Inc., one of Boston's oldest and most respected agencies.
