Jason Manford is heading to Dave with new crowdfunding series The Money Pit.
He will serve as ringmaster as members of the public risk their own money to invest in the ideas of hopeful entrepreneurs.
Contestants will be able to invest anything from £100 to £20,000 in return for a stake in the entrepreneur's new company, in a similar format to the BBC's long-running series Dragon's Den.
The show promises to be a tense watch as investors are free to withdraw their investment and jump ship to another company right until the end of the episode.
Manford said: "I'm inviting all those people with some spare cash that they're thinking of hiding under the mattress, or sticking on the 3.15pm at Haydock Park to join me in The Money Pit instead.
"It's their chance to invest in real-life entrepreneurs who could make them serious money. Who knows, if they back the right...

Smeg heads, rejoice! Doug Naylor has announced two more series of Red Dwarf, on Dave…
Here’s some good news – Doug Naylor, co-creator of Red Dwarf, has announced two more series of the cult sci-fi comedy.
Like series 10, the new 11th and 12th series will air on Dave. Of course, in typical Red Dwarf fashion, the series titles will actually be stylised Red Dwarf XI and Red Dwarf Xii.
Both series of the boys from the dwarf’s new adventures will shoot back to back later this year. They will air in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Before then, Dave have added a bespoke collection of Dwarf episodes to their online streaming service UKTV Play, to tide you over in the meantime.
It’s no surprise, really, considering that Red Dwarf: Back To Earth (the first new episodes of the show to be shown on Dave) earned the status of biggest non-terrestrial commission,...

The popular digital channel will phase in a new identity on air and online from Tuesday (April 29).
Red Bee has designed a new look for the channel, having originally created the launch seven years ago.

Monroeville, Pa, is no stranger to zombies, especially at their fabled mall where, in 1978, the original (and still best) Dawn of the Dead was filmed. Now, thirty years later, the shambling dead once again invaded for a three-day event which culminated in a good charitable cause. More on that later. ZombieFest, the annual event, was one hell of a good time, and if you missed it, you should promptly go and kick yourself wherever is most tender.
Friday night the fest kicked off at the Churchill Valley Country Club with the Zombie Ball. Costumes were optional, but well received, as the evening included a costume contest, a silent auction (the proceeds from which went to breast cancer research), and a fifty-fifty drawing in which the lucky ticket holder got half the money taken to purchase the tickets; the rest also went to breast cancer research. Amid all the fine surroundings,...
