- John Morton was born on March 26, 1947. He is an actor, known for Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Flash Gordon (1980) and Superman II (1980).
- As well as playing Luke's gunner Dak in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Morton also put on the armor of Boba Fett for one scene when Jeremy Bulloch was unavailable. It is the scene outside Han Solo's holding cell in which Boba says 'He's no good to me dead'.
- Became a stockbroker in Washington D.C.
- In 1980 he appeared in two second installments to a popular franchise: Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back and Superman II. That same year he also appeared in Flash Gordon, which was an influence for Star Wars.
