The latest chapter of Slasher is well underway.
On Slasher: Ripper Episode 3, Basil (Eric McCormack) is on a mission to unmask the Widow.
In doing so, he realizes that someone from his rich inner circle might be responsible.
If the Widow taught us anything in the first two episodes of this Shudder and AMC+ drama, they are ready to dole out justice towards the elite.
As a result, people are dropping like flies, and it looks like Basil and his powerful friends are harboring a fateful secret about an event several years before.
In an exclusive clip shared with TV Fanatic, we see the extent Basil is willing to go to get answers.
He's not the nicest person, but he strikes me as the kind of person who will find answers easier than some other characters.
With power and influence, it's easier to get things done, but in the Slasher sandbox,...

Synopsis: "Slasher: Ripper takes the franchise back in time to the late 19th century and follows Basil Garvey (McCormack), a charismatic tycoon whose success is only rivaled by his ruthlessness, as he oversees a city on the cusp of a new century, and a social upheaval that will see its streets run red with blood. There’s a killer stalking the mean streets, but instead of targeting the poor and downtrodden like Jack the Ripper, The Widow is meting out justice against the rich and powerful. The only person standing in the way of this killer is the newly promoted detective, Kenneth Rijkers, whose ironclad belief in justice may...

Miracles do happen. The first half of the finale, Mary Kills People Season 2 Episode 5 conveniently titled "Come to Jesus" manages to make me believe that the teen storyline is possibly worth caring about.
Typically, anything to do with Jess, her pouty demeanor, and her entourage causes me some amount of physical pain as the whiny drama screeches in my ears.
Instead, we get Naomi trying to make things better between Jess and Heather, even resorting to quoting prayer. The girl makes crazy stupid choices with her life but isn't actually dumb by any means.

And then, in a moment of total unfamiliarity, I actually felt sorry for Jess when Mary up and ditches her during the dinner which was meant to be the beginning of their reconciliation.

The peacock network is dropping their medical drama Saving Hope from the schedule. While the TV series hasn't been officially cancelled by NBC, the writing is certainly on the wall.
Saving Hope revolves around the staff of a major hospital. The charismatic Chief of Surgery (Michael Shanks) suffers a massive brain hemorrhage on his wedding day and ends up in a coma. This leaves the facility in chaos and his fiance and fellow surgeon (Erica Durance) in a state of shock. It doesn't help matters that her former boyfriend (Daniel Gillies) -- also a brilliant surgeon -- has arrived to work at the same facility. Others in the cast include Michelle Nolden, K. C. Collins, Kristopher Turner, Julia Taylor Ross, Ben Ayres, Huse Madhavji, Salvatore Antonio, and Glenda Braganza.
