Composer and author Gene Lucas was born in Hungary and studied law at the University of Bucharest and in private music sessions. He composed and arranged for theater, radio, films and television. Joining ASCAP in 1953, his popular-song and instrumental compositions include "A Tragedy in Porcelain", "Moments Enchanting", "A Nurse Dance", "How Can I Tell You?", and "Oh No - Not Much".
