Daughter of vaudeville parents Larry & Trudie. Her father was a Chinese-Australian tap dancer and her mother a Japanese-American showgirl.
(Sept. 7 & 8, 2000) Appeared as Madame Liang in a pre-Broadway workshop
of Rodgers & Hemmerstein's FLOWER DRUM SONG, adapted by David Henry
Hwang.
First performed on Broadway at age of 7 in the play "Nowhere To Go But Up".
Attended the acting conservatory at SUNY Purchase (State University of
New York at Purchase).
She was awarded the 2002 Los Angeles Stage Alliance Ovation Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for "Flower Drum Song" at the Mark Taper Forum Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
