- Jeremy Kay was born on July 26, 1942 in Steubenville, Ohio, USA. Jeremy is an art director and writer, known for Easy Rider (1969), Satan's Children (1975) and The Waxing Moon (1976).
- Jeremy's most famous movie was never made (sort-of)... In 1975, George Lucas was developing THE STAR WARS for Universal Studios. Jeremy was the first (uncredited) American Production Designer, who conceived & designed the original "Wizard of Oz" storyline concept & Space-OZ like Characters; Tin-Man, Lion, Scarecrow, Wicked Witch, Flying Monkeys, and the original design for R2D2 character [a never used Space-Oz Robot Dog (RD) "Toto" (2+2)] who "bark"-talked. The experts at Universal didn't think a "space" movie would make-it, so they pulled-the-plug on Lucas' development option, and THE STAR WARS project was killed! Two years later it was picked-up by 20th Century Fox, produced in England... and the rest is history.
