Bleiberg Entertainment has picked up international sales to Kevin Kaufman’s Kid Witness, set to receive its world premiere in early May at Geena Davis’ Bentonville Film Festival.
Ripley Sobo stars in the story about a youngster who witnesses a New York kidnapping and sets out to find evidence to solve the crime with the help of a sympathetic detective.
Sobo appears in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice and starred opposite Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs’ daughter in the film of the same name.
Lev Gorn, Marc Mancheca, Aaron Sauter and Broad City’s Arturo Castro round out the key cast.

The latest drama from The Real Housewives of Orange County is a lawsuit from two of its producers, who allege they co-created the long-running series and were then excluded from its profits. In a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, Patrick Moses and Kevin Kaufman claim that the credited creator of the series, Scott Dunlop, developed and sold the series with them, then conspired with the show's network, Bravo, to remove them from Housewives' production and take it over for himself.
