Nancy Meyers is still searching for a new home for her film after parting ways with Netflix over budget concerns. But in the meantime, the director of rom-com classics like 2006’s The Holiday and Something’s Gotta Give has dropped some hints on Instagram, revealing details about her movie, confirming the title, and sharing its origin.
Deadline reported that Scarlett Johansson, Owen Wilson, Penelope Cruz and Michael Fassbender were in talks to star, but that the proposed Netflix budget — which sources say was coming in around $130 million — was causing issues. Sources say that while the studio was fine with $130 million, Meyers was fighting for $150 million, with $80 million of that going to above-the-line costs.
The film is titled Paris Paramount, which we were first to tell you about in April 2022. It tells the story of an above-the-line filmmaking duo who reunite (begrudgingly) on set after falling in and out of love with each other.

“We’re breaking ground here,” Brad Goreski declares minutes into the series premiere of MTV’s newest unscripted drama, “The Real Friends of Weho.”
We’ve seen Goreski on our TV screens for 15 years now, from his early days as Rachel Zoe’s assistant to his stints on “Fashion Police” and “Canada’s Drag Race.” He’s still styling his celebrity clients. He’s still happily married to Gary Janetti. He has a beautiful home. All wonderful things, but not groundbreaking.
“My ideal date night is pizza on Sunday,” he admits. Same, Brad, same. So why do we need to see more?
Goreski’s role appears to be the anchor for the six “Real Friends,” a group of Wehovians that includes performer Todrick Hall, actor Curtis Hamilton, CEO of Buttah Skincare Dorión Renaud, TV host Jaymes Vaughan and social media personality Joey Zauzig.

Updated: Tributes are pouring in for beloved actor Leslie Jordan. Jordan, remembered for his work on sitcom Will & Grace, among numerous other credits, died this morning in a single-car crash in Hollywood.
Jordan portrayed the caustic Beverley Leslie, frenemy of Megan Mullally’s Karen Walker, in Will & Grace. Mullally posted a remembrance on Instagram, along with a photo of the two from the show. (You can see it below).
“my heart is breaking,” Mullally wrote. i really can’t believe it. leslie jordan was, hands down, one of the greats. people use that expression a lot, and i’m not sure it’s always applicable. there aren’t that many people who are truly great at anything. but leslie was flawlessly funny, a virtuoso of comedy. his timing, his delivery, all apparently effortless. you can’t get any better than that.
and what a friendly, fun-loving, dear person.

Since 1999, "Family Guy" has been a staple of Fox's adult-animation programming block. Inspired by "The Simpsons," Seth MacFarlane's "Family Guy" initially aired for three seasons on Fox. Due to its low ratings, Fox canceled "Family Guy" twice -- once in 2000 and again in 2002. However, the show's DVD and Adult Swim syndication sales performed well, leading the network to revive the show for a season 4 in 2005. The revival history of "Family Guy" solidified the show's network home -- even if creator Seth MacFarlane now regrets the show's connection to the Fox network.
"Family Guy" follows Peter Griffin's (Seth MacFarlane) family: his wife Lois (Alex Borstein), his daughter Meg (voiced by Lacey Chabert in season 1 until Mila Kunis took over the role from season 2 onward), his sons Chris (Seth Green) and Stewie (MacFarlane), and his dog Brian (MacFarlane). MacFarlane's series is famous for its irreverent and boundary-pushing humor. While not all...

The TV academy has honored voice-only performances since 1992, when six cast members from “The Simpsons” collectively became the first actors to receive Emmys for such work. The Best Voice-Over Performance category became an official non-juried one in 2009 and was then split into two categories in 2014: Best Character Voice-Over and Best Narrator. Harry Shearer (“The Simpsons”) made history as the former category’s first champion, having been nominated once before for the same series.
The 2022 Best Character Voice-Over ballot list below consists of a whopping 222 performances. Seeking a third consecutive victory is Maya Rudolph, who plays Connie the Hormone Monstress on “Big Mouth.” Also in the mix are former winners Shearer, Hank Azaria (“The Simpsons”), Alex Borstein (“Family Guy”), and Seth MacFarlane (“Family Guy”).

Exclusive: HBO Max has opted not to renew its animated comedy series The Prince for a second season.
“The Prince is not moving forward,” HBO and HBO Max Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys confirmed to Deadline during an interview tied to TCA.
The move is not surprising. The Prince, a biting look at the British royals through the eyes of Prince George, the youngest heir to the throne (voiced by series creator Gary Janetti), has drawn criticism for satirizing the royal children and especially its take on 8-year-old Prince George, who is portrayed as entitled and conniving.
Additionally, the series’ planned late-spring launch was delayed following Prince Philip’s April 9 death at the age of 99. The animated comedy’s 12 episodes were ultimately dropped at once with little fanfare in July. There are no plans for the series to be shopped elsewhere by 20th TV Animation.

It's no small task to bring the queens of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to Buckingham Palace. Are there enough crowns to go around?! Thankfully, The Prince creator Gary Janetti opted for the Bravo reality TV and royals' worlds to collide via cartoon instead of Irl. "It was a lot of fun," Janetti gushed about working with Rhobh stars like Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Kyle Richards and Garcelle Beauvais. "They obviously do their own voices and stuff and everybody's in it." Yet a quick cast shake-up giving Teddi Mellencamp the axe added to an unexpected script change for Janetti. "You know, Teddi is in it as well, but...

If you thought The Crown was hard for the royals to watch, just wait until The Prince premieres. On Wednesday, July 28, HBO Max released a laugh-out-loud trailer for their new animated satire about Prince George and the British royal family. The highly anticipated series, which premieres July 29, puts Prince William and Kate Middleton's oldest child front-and-center as it documents a fictionalized version of the future king's life. And it's safe to say you've never seen the royals in this light. Case in point: Prince George (voiced by creator Gary Janetti) asks one butler, "Excuse me, do you have any tea that doesn't taste like piss?" That doesn't sound like the precious royal...

The life of England’s Prince George is being parodied in HBO Max’s The Prince, the 12-episode series premiering in one full batch at midnight Thursday. The project was originally delayed in May after the death of Prince Phillip.
The Prince is a biting, satirical look at the life of Prince George of Cambridge as he navigates the trials and tribulations of being a royal child. The youngest heir to the British throne will be voiced by creator Gary Janetti, who popularized the character and his royal adventures via his Instagram page.
By the looks of the new trailer, neither Prince Harry (Orlando Bloom), his wife Duchess Megan Markle (Condola Rashad) nor the rest of the family will be spared in the name of comedy—not even Queen Elizabeth (Frances de la Tour).

First there was a hilarious “deepfake” video of Queen Elizabeth II’s Christmas address. Now, an animated spoof of the annual message has emerged, with a cartoon Prince George joining Her Majesty in an alternative version created by Family Guy producer Gary Janetti.

Gary Janetti is one of my favorite people on Instagram. In a time where royal news coverage is . . . exhausting, Janetti's account - which is a tongue-in-cheek page dedicated to Prince George - is a breath of fresh air that pokes fun at the relentless coverage of the British royals. Plus, it makes me cackle on a daily basis (there's a reason the page has almost one million followers).
And clearly, HBO Max agrees, because the network has greenlit a satirical animated TV series titled The Prince, which will be produced by Janetti himself and 20th Century Fox TV.
