That was quick!
Christopher Plummer made his debut as J. Paul Getty in a new trailer for All the Money in the World which aired on Tuesday night during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
The spot was surprising, since the 87-year-old screen legend had just been spotted filming his first scenes for the biopic earlier this week.
In quick snippets, Plummer can be seen as the infamous billionaire oil tycoon dressed in a black suit, a white shirt and tie.
The Oscar winner is replacing Kevin Spacey in the film, following multiple allegations of sexual harassment against the House of Cards star. Director Ridley Scott decided to recast Spacey and reshoot all of his scenes, after the movie had already been completed.

Christopher Plummer says he isn't really "replacing" Kevin Spacey in All the Money in the World, but rather creating a whole new role, in a way.
Following director Ridley Scott's decision to recast and reshoot all of Spacey's scenes in the upcoming J. Paul Getty biopic following multiple allegations of sexual harassment against Spacey, Plummer stepped in to take on the role of the infamous billionaire oil tycoon.
Et caught up with Plummer on Sunday at the premiere of his upcoming film The Man Who Invented Christmas, and spoke with the 87-year-old screen legend about the unprecedented move to recast the star of a movie after the film had been completely finished.
"It isn’t replacing. In a funny way it’s starting all over again because it’s going to be different, naturally," Plummer explained.

Director Ridley Scott is making a surprising, bold step by cutting out Kevin Spacey from his fully completed new film All the Money in the World.
Et has learned that in the wake of the multiple allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct leveled against Spacey in recent weeks, Scott -- along with executive producers Dan Friedkin and Bradley Thomas -- decided to re-shoot all of the actor's scenes.
Oscar winner Christopher Plummer will replace Spacey in the role of famed billionaire oil tycoon J. Paul Getty.
Reshoots are expected to begin as soon as possible, although production dates have not yet been determined, and Scott has expressed determination to stick to the film's planned Dec. 22 release date, Deadline reports.

Former television news anchor Heather Unruh claims actor Kevin Spacey sexually assaulted her teenage son, CBS Boston reports.
During a news conference on Wednesday morning, with attorney Mitchell Garabedian, Unruh alleged the assault happened in July 2016 on Nantucket when her son was drunk at the Club Car restaurant.
Fighting back tears, she said her son was a "starstruck, straight, 18-year-old young man who had no idea that the famous actor was an alleged sexual predator, or that he was about to become his next victim."

Anthony Rapp has his Star Trek: Discovery co-stars in his corner.
During an interview on the ITV daytime show Lorraine on Monday, Jason Isaacs praised Rapp for speaking out against Kevin Spacey, calling him "heroic" for coming forward with his allegation of sexual misconduct against the House of Cards star.
"He's an amazing... he's a very lovely guy," Isaacs said. "He did this thing by himself, but he did it for many other people. He had heard lots of rumors, he hoped that other stories would come out -- there were a couple of days that they didn't -- and now they have, now there's a whole flood of them and it's just all power to him."
"We're all incredibly proud of him," he continued. "Speaking out against power takes a lot of guts, and being the first person to speak out is heroic."

Before setting records as the shortest-serving White House communications director in the history of the United States, Anthony Scaramucci was seeking a different sort of fame: Movie stardom. After getting fired only two weeks into the job, following the world’s most ill-advised phone call to New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza, it was revealed that Scaramucci actually had a fleeting role in a different kind of franchise — Oliver Stone’s unevenly received “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.” What many don’t know, however, is that the president himself also filmed a cameo for the same film, thought it was scrapped from the final cut.

Six months into Donald Trump’s presidency, it’s hard to remember a time when the concept of the former “Apprentice” host becoming the Commander-in-Chief was a joke.
And yet for some time, it really was, thanks to decades of Trump’s standing as a pop culture icon, a notion he more than encouraged with frequent media appearances. The mogul was game for any joke as long as it didn’t imply that he wasn’t as rich or powerful as he said he was.

As with so many conversations with and about filmmaker Richard Linklater, the talk turned to Texas.
Deep in production on a film elsewhere and with the East Coast-set “Last Flag Flying” slated to premiere in the fall, Linklater touched on future projects while speaking to the Television Critics Association on Sunday.
While speaking about the upcoming PBS American Masters documentary “Richard Linklater: Dream is Destiny,” Linklater referenced a recent New Yorker article about the history of Texas-based productions. Linklater explained that he has an idea percolating that may bring him back to making another film in his home state.
“I have a script I’m working on now that touches into Texas. It’s a true story that’ll be somewhere down the line that touches on demagoguery, a kind of con man, let’s say. To me, that’s apt for our times,” Linklater said.

Political satire has had to do a lot of heavy lifting lately, but audiences can sleep a little easier knowing Alec Baldwin will return his Donald Trump impression to “Saturday Night Live” in the fall. “Yeah, we’re going to fit that in. I think people have enjoyed it,” Baldwin told CNN, adding that the number of Trump sketches will be fewer than audiences might expect. “There will be a couple celery sticks of that every now and then. But not a whole meal.”

The penultimate episode of Designated Survivor didn’t reveal or unravel the conspiracy to the audience, but it packed a heck of punch to everyone on the screen. The back half of the season not only ramped up the details behind the conspiracy which blew up the Capitol, it focused on setting good bipartisan policies (as a presidential administration should). One does not exist independently of the other, as we saw when at least one truth about that fateful day came to light just when it could derail international negotiations of peace. It’s clear these terrorists understand with scary accuracy how

Microsoft’s decision to open up its catalog of first-party titles for PC with the Xbox Play Anywhere program doesn’t necessarily detract from the console gaming experience.
First showcased during E3 in June, the incentive offers players a cross-buy service across both Windows 10 and Xbox One, meaning you only need to buy one copy of a first-party game such as Gears of War 4 – select third-party titles are also valid – to access it across the two platforms.
It’s all part of Microsoft’s unification strategy, and while appearing on the Inner Circle Podcast (per GameSpot), Executive Albert Penello offered some fresh perspective on the Xbox Play Anywhere program and why it doesn’t spell the death of Microsoft’s console business.

Bad boys, bad boys, what you gonna do? Wait, I just wrote about Bad Boys For Life like five minutes ago. What's this now?
Well, one of the inspirations for that film franchise's name was the mega-popular TV series Cops, which used the Inner Circle song "Bad Boys" as its opening theme song:
The Emmy winning show debuted in 1989 and was partly responsible for the reality TV boom that came in the late '90s and early 2000s. You might be surprised to know that it's still airing new episodes, but what may not surprise you is the news from Deadline that Gangster Squad director Ruben Fleischer is going to adapt the series into a feature film.
The idea is to turn that [show's] vibe — best known for its catchy theme song — into an edgy narrative feature with a buddy comedy bent on the order of a Lethal Weapon.
So...it's just a buddy cop comedy?...

Nothing is a coincidence or an accident in Mr. Robot, Sam Esmail's hacker psychothriller that wormed its way into last year's TV season like a particularly efficient computer virus. Visually stunning and meticulously plotted, the first season tapped into a rich vein of paranoia and disillusion running through the heart of late-stage capitalist society — in other words, it's not exactly your typical USA Network fare, a channel known for play-it-safe shows like Royal Pains and White Collar.

During the most recent episode of Microsoft’s Inner Circle podcast, ID@Xbox director Chris Charla revealed that he “would love to see” Hello Games’ space exploration sim No Man’s Sky launch on Xbox One.
Currently scheduled to debut on PlayStation 4 before making its way onto PC at a later date, the eye-catching title has drew praise from across the industry for its blue-sky thinking and procedural design. Although, Charla noted that if it is to be ported to Microsoft’s current-gen console, the decision ultimately rests in the hands of Hello Games.
However, the director also admitted that many indie developers may be dissuaded from bringing software to the Xbox One due to Microsoft’s controversial launch parity clause, which states that games must launch for the console on the same day as rival systems, such as the PS4 and PC.
Speaking about the policy, here’s what...

The 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo is scheduled to run from June 16th to 18th, and as always, Microsoft’s Xbox brand will be one of the most prominent players. What exactly the company will bring to the show is anyone’s guess, but some recent statements from a Microsoft employee give hope that they’ll impress us with what they’ve got in store.
In a recent interview with the Inner Circle podcast, Xbox marketing executive Aaron Greenberg said to not only expect “a lot of surprises,” but that the company will also be talking about a lot of upcoming games, which is encouraging for those who are more interested in promising software for the Xbox One rather than apps or peripherals.
Greenberg also noted that Microsoft is going to take a bit of a different approach to E3 this year. It remains to be seen what exactly he means by “different,...

The hot popular guy of '90s films and TV is now a church leader.
You may remember Andrew Keegan as the teen dad on 7th Heaven, the bad boy Zach in Camp Nowhere or the high school heartthrob/jerk in 10 Things I Hate About You. But for many, he's now the leader of a "spiritual movement" in Los Angeles' Venice Beach.
Vice reports that the 35-year-old has made a major career transition and is now overseeing the new-age church Full Circle. Though even the members don't seem super certain of the mission statement of the religion, there is a talking parrot named Krishna and a guy named Third Eye who greets you at the entrance.
Vice says the movement "integrates the indigenous and modern practices, bringing individuals, community and organizations together as indispensable collaborators realizing a co-creative, sustainable and fulfilling future."

Francis Bayotas was attending the Beaches Jazz Festival in Toronto, Canada, when he spotted this local police officer visibly getting into the groove (with a tambourine!) to the sounds of a local reggae band. Now, while tensions between the reggae and law enforcement communities have been fraught ever since Bob Marley sang about the homicide of a member of the Jamaican police force, things were smoothed over when "Bad Boys" by Inner Circle became the theme song to Cops in 1993. Bayotas's original video, posted on Facebook, has over 67,000 shares, proving that people really love watching cops dance. Well, cops and Rob Ford.
