Max Gutierrez is an A.S.C award-winning cinematographer and director
with extensive experience in commercial, promotional, music video,
television and feature film production. A member of the International
Cinematographer's Guild, he has a keen eye for visual storytelling, a
sincere appreciation for the collaborative process and a passion for
motion imaging.
The American Society of Cinematographers has twice recognized his
cinematography, earning him the prestigious A.S.C. Heritage Award for
Outstanding Cinematography, Honorable Commendation in 2005 and a
nomination for the same award in 2006.
In 2006, Max earned his Masters Degree in Fine Arts from the University
of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, where he studied Film
and Video Production. He completed his undergraduate studies at the
University of California at Berkeley.
Max Gutierrez is based out of Los Angeles and also work locally in the
San Francisco Bay Area.
