- Steve Grumette pioneered the field of computer/video special effects for motion pictures. "WarGames" was the first application for his special technique which eliminates the "frame flicker" that occurs when a computer monitor is filmed. In "Sneakers", Grumette shot second unit video in additional to carrying out his technical duties. He also Co-Produced and Edited "The Magic Machines" which won the Academy Award as "Best Live Action Short Subject" of 1969.
