- Stephen B. Grimes was born on April 18, 1927 in Weybridge, Surrey, England, UK. He was a production designer and art director, known for Out of Africa (1985), The Way We Were (1973) and Never Say Never Again (1983). He died on September 12, 1988 in Positano, Campania, Italy.

- Began as a sketch artist at Denham Studios under the auspices of Carmen Dillon.
