According to reports, actor Jeremy Renner aka 'Hawkeye' in the 'Marvel Cinematic Universe', will next play 'Old West' gunfighter 'John Henry "Doc" Holliday' for PalmStar Media, produced by Kevin Frakes:
"We are excited to re-introduce this classic American character to a whole new audience," said Renner, "by chronicling 'Doc Holliday’ and his incredible transformation from 'average Joe' dentist to a man who 'Wyatt Earp' called the ‘deadliest man with a six-gun'".
Adapting author Mary Doria Russell's novel "Doc", the film will take a closer look at the 'love triangle' between Holliday, his prostitute wife, 'Big Nose Kate Elder' and best friend, lawman 'Wyatt Earp'.
'John Henry Holliday' was born in 1851 in Griffin Georgia. In 1872, after earning his 'Doctor of Dental Surgery', he opened an office in Atlanta with a fellow graduate, but was diagnosed with tuberculosis.

Stephen Colbert and his audience felt the Bern on Friday night's Late Show as the host dedicated much of the episode to Vermont senator Bernie Sanders, who is steadily closing in on Hillary Clinton's once-impenetrable lead in the Democratic presidential field. Before Sanders sat down for their interview, Colbert first served up a "Bern Notice" summarizing the candidate's "meteoric rise." "He's rising, you know, like meteors do," Colbert quipped.
"Sanders' popularity is surprising because he's a self-described socialist who would also be our oldest president ever. The man is 74 years old,...

Anyone making a movie about a member of the Grateful Dead would naturally gravitate toward Jerry Garcia. But director Mike Fleiss, best known for co-directing the 2011 doc God Bless Ozzy Osbourne, had other ideas. “I wanted to give Bob [Weir] his moment to shine,” Fleiss says. “I wanted to shine a light on his contributions to culture and rock and roll.”

The Eso podcast crew are not what they seem, but they do enjoy a damn good cup of coffee and a slice of cherry pie. Mike Faber, Mike Gordon, Jennifer Hartshorn, and the award-winning author Bobby Nash are joined by The Oncoming Storm’s Josh Wilson to discuss the ground breaking 90′s series, Twin Peaks. We wanted to put the Log Lady’s wooden friend in The Geek Seat, but it turns out its answers were not able to be recorded, so we settled for Gerald Welch, co-author of The Legacy Series with Warren Murphy, who found the experience only slightly less painful than a match with Chiun. We also make time for the usual Rants, Raves, Khan Report, and Shout Outs.
