- (1962) Unsold Pilot: In 1962, he starred in an unsold pilot for a proposed CBS sitcom called "Mighty O". The plot revolved around the adventures of a couple of veteran petty officers on-board a Coast Guard vessel "Ortega" hence the nickname "The Mighty O".
- (September 1961) He acted in Ira Levin's play, "Critic's Choice," at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Ogunquit, Maine with Alexis Smith in the cast.
- (August 1968) He acted in Abe Burrows' play, "Cactus Flower," at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Ogunquit, Maine with Alexis Smith in the cast.
- (Summer 1965) He acted in Jean Kerr's play, "Mary, Mary," in a Kenley Players production at the Veterans Memorial Theatre in Columbus and the Packard Music Hall Theatre in Warren, Ohio with Alexis Smith in the cast. John Kenley was artistic director.
