Graduated from UCLA Theater Arts Department (now UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television) in 1956, with the goal of becoming a cinematographer.
Former president of the Casting Society of America (CSA).

: Fenton-Frederick Casting.
Started his career working in the mail room of the Music Corporation of America before becoming an agent at the Ashley-Steiner Agency.
Joined Paramount as a casting director in 1963.
In 1965 he became head of casting for T&L Productions who produced "I Spy.".
He had a son, Mick, with his first wife, Janet.
He died of natural causes at his home in Los Angeles, CA.
