He has been married to Tugba Coskun since April 30, 2005. They have one child. He was previously married to Sedef Altuntas, Nergis Kumbasar and Muhsine Sehnaz Kamiloglu.

- After a very promising start on stage, movies and television, he started choosing projects that would earn him the highest paycheck, rather than prestige. He later started hosting Jerry Springer-style shows, and as a result, became synonymous with low quality, cheap productions aiming for the simplest laughs. At one point he was involved in four separate movies that were in the imdb bottom 100 as actor, or writer, or director, or all.
