Do any of you hardcore horror fanatics remember Mirror Mirror from 1990? It had a theatrical release, but garnered much of its popularity on the shelves of Blockbuster Video stores nationwide and became a late-night cable staple for several years throughout the decade. And yes, it should be considered somewhat “popular” since it spawned three sequels. If you haven’t seen the original Mirror Mirror, don’t worry because Dark Force Entertainment, headed by Demon Dave, has released it in 4K Uhd. That means you Og fans of this B-movie classic can relive some sense of nostalgia from that decade, now in 4K clarity.
Let’s dive into the film’s plot. Megan Gordon and her mother Susan move to L.A. and into a new home to begin their equally new lives. The previous residents left behind a lot of their belongings that are being sold by an auctioneer named Emelin.

Angel has its fair share of brooding, tragic figures populating the DVD cases. That's appropriate, given that its main man can't ever have a proper relationship and worse still, has had to give up the one girl who might just have had a shot at being Mrs Angel. Oh, the long list of ballads you could write about this one. But then we also have Wesley and his troubled childhood, Fred and her slightly-longer-than-intended camp dimension vacation – and of course, creeping back to the première season, there's Doyle.
So far, Doyle's been something of a closed book. Episodes such as Rm w/a Vu have implied haunted pasts, but they've never got to the root of the problem. Along comes The Bachelor Party, which starts to fill in the gaps. After the mixed Sense And Sensitivity, this episode gets the series back on form with a tale that mixes fun...

"Desperate Housewives" gave viewers a girl-on-girl kissing scene last season, and it appears once was not enough for the ABC soap.
Reports online say that Teri Hatcher's character, Susan, will be kissing another woman in the near future. There's no word on who the kissee will be, but our money's on Julie Benz's stripper character, Robin, who begins a guest arc on Sunday's (Jan. 31) episode.
As you may recall, Susan also shared a smooch with Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker) last season -- after sending a message she didn't intend to send to her lesbian boss (played by Swoosie Kurtz). Or perhaps you didn't. Both kisses were played as comedy, and neither was especially memorable.
Will the show do it better this time around? Time will tell. In the meantime, we offer up a few other iconic woman-to-woman kisses in TV history.

Broadway Video Television president JoAnn Alfano has left Lorne Michaels' company to launch her own banner, TV Tray Entertainment.
Alfano, who was a development executive at NBC and Universal Media Studios' predecessor NBC Studios before joining BV in 2003, is staying put at UMS with a two-year first-look development deal.
Meanwhile, BV is in the process of re-upping its primetime development deal with the studio. The company is expected to expand development in New York and to announce its staffing plans soon.
"We are truly thrilled to welcome JoAnn in this new capacity, and we know that her successful development experience at BV and on the studio and network side will pay creative dividends," UMS president Katherine Pope said. "It's wonderful to see her open her own production company under our roof, and we can't wait to get started working."
At BV, Alfano was involved in the development and served as an executive producer on the critically praised comedies 30 Rock for NBC, Sons & Daughters for ABC and USA Network's upcoming comedic one-hour series To Love and Die.
Alfano will continue to serve as an executive producer on the BVTV/UMS-produced Love, which was created by Sara Goodman and stars Shiri Appleby, Tim Matheson, Frances Fisher, Christine Adams and Kristin Datillo.

USA Network has given a series pickup to "To Love and Die", a light one-hour from creator Sara Goodman, Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video Television and Universal Media Studios.
The network has ordered 11 additional episodes of "Die", which centers on a fun-loving thirtysomething (Shiri Appleby) with abandonment issues who becomes convinced that her dating problems would be resolved if only she could track down the father (Tim Matheson) she never knew. When she finds him, she discovers that he's an assassin and that she might have found her calling.
"It has a high-concept character at its center and a light tone with a somewhat twisted soul, which fits our brand perfectly," said USA executive vp original programming Jeff Wachtel.
On the series, Appleby and Matheson are joined by Frances Fisher, Christine Adams, and Kristin Dattilo. Additionally, negotiations are underway with the pilot's co-star Ivan Sergei to continue on the series.
While the timing of the series pickup is said to be tied to the options on the actors in the pilot coming up, the network's decision to order "Die" was prompted by its recent success with the female-centered miniseries "The Starter Wife".
"We made our mark with character-driven dramas with guy leads with The Dead' Zone, ' 'Monk' and 'Psych, ' now we would love to have shows with female leads," Wachtel said.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Director Rory Kelly's ("Sleep With Me") second feature deals with young people in L.A. and their dysfunctional romantic relationships -- not exactly a fresh topic on the indie scene these days.
But some funny dialogue and appealing performances by a top-flight cast of up-and-comers make "Some Girls" a sporadically engaging experience. It was recently showcased at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival.
Marissa Ribisi, who also co-wrote the script, plays the central role of Claire, a vibrant redheaded poet looking for that most elusive of commodities, unconditional love. She thinks she may have found it with Chad Jeremy Sisto), a good-looking actor with a particularly seductive bedroom technique. Unfortunately, according to Claire's friend April (Juliette Lewis), "Chads are bad news".
April herself is particularly screwed up, engaging in a series of one-night stands despite having a steady boyfriend (Michael Rapaport) who dotes on her. He's so agreeable, in fact, that she calls him to pick her up from various men's apartments. She's the type of woman who suffers head injuries from bedposts.
Other characters in the romantic roundelay include Suzanne (Kristin Dattilo), a struggling artist; Jason (Giovanni Ribisi), Claire's geeky younger brother; and the older, unattainable woman he has the hots for, Jenn (Pamela Segall), a rock music promoter.
The rambling screenplay mainly serves as an excuse for a series of alternately comic and woeful conversations about the difficulties of love and contains what must be the thousandth scene in recent years in which young woman discuss the intricacies of performing oral sex. This educational theme is further explored in another, more inventive scene in which Jason details the inner workings of female sex organs using a piece of carved fruit.
"Some Girls" suffers from an occasional preciousness and a tendency toward pretension, and its characters engage in some questionable behavior for a comedy; to get revenge on her cheating boyfriend, for example, Claire sets fire to his house, an act treated here in alarmingly lighthearted fashion. But, thanks to the incisive performances by the talented cast, the characters by the film's end will have gotten under your skin in a way you may not have anticipated.
