- Steven Cohen was born in 1953 in Marseille, France. He is an editor and producer, known for 15 Minutes (2001), The Prince and Me (2004) and Bosch (2014).
- Originally a film editor, Cohen pioneered the use of digital tools in the editing room. He worked as a consultant for both Avid Technology and Montage, Ltd. "Lost In Yonkers" was the first studio feature cut with an Avid. "Crazy in Love" was the first digitally edited TV Movie.
- Chairman of the Editing Dept at the American Film Institute (CAFTS) and taught there for 9 years in the 90s.
- Co-creator and publisher of the Editors Guild Magazine, 2000-2004.
