Zeremiah “Zz” Loupe, the Tough Enough 2015 runner-up who gained a fan following for his colorful character, entertaining promos, and fondness for alligator wrestling, made his in-ring debut with WWE’s Nxt brand Saturday night in Orlando, Fl.
Zz defeated Nxt competitor Christopher Girard, a skilled competitor who previously competed on the independent scene as Biff Busick.

Though the eliminations and, ultimately, the winners of last season’s Tough Enough were left entirely up to a fan vote, many viewers accused WWE of stacking the deck against Zz. Despite his young age and verbal skills, Zz’s body and athletic ability weren’t in line with WWE’s usual preferences, so to some, it seemed as if the show’s producers were subtly trying to manipulate fans into voting for other contestants.
Despite that, Zz still made it to the finals,...

WWE developmental talent (and recent Tough Enough contestant) Patrick Clark has been slammed for no-showing an agreed date with Boston-based Millennium Wrestling Federation.
Co-founder Dan Mirade posted the above video to Mwf’s YouTube channel, criticising Clark for cutting of all contact regarding a pre-arranged appearance, and branding him a ‘total diva’ for his conduct throughout. He also disparages the youngster for ‘lucking into’ a reality show, rather than forging a more traditional path to WWE stardom.
According to Mirade, Clark agreed to appear at tonight’s ‘TV14 Fight Night’ as far back as August 31st, and even discussed transport with the promotion. He is then alleged to have ignored Mwf’s follow-up messages,
The promoter has also accused Patrick of lying to WWE officials, claiming that he never agreed to appear in the promotion, despite apparent video evidence to the contrary.
Mirade also cites various prominent figures who’ve previously performed in his promotion,...

With Sara Lee and Josh Bredle winning the $250,000 Tough Enough contracts last month, it was expected that others from the cast would find themselves lading WWE deals. Amanda has been recently signed to take part in Total Divas, and now it appears another competitor from the show is moving forward with the company.
Zamariah Loupe, best known to fans as Zz, was spotted at the WWE Performance Center on Monday, according to PWInsider. Zz took part in training sessions in the ring with other WWE developmental talents, so it appears either he has signed a deal with the company or the option is being explored.
Considering other talents from the show such as Patrick Clark and Mada are still out there, un-signed, the potential news of a contract being offered to Zz would have to be seen as a bit of a surprise. Though he did connect with the audience throughout the contest,...

The collective jaws of viewers watching “Tough Enough” on USA Network dropped this week when Patrick Clark Jr.’s name was called for elimination. The competitor’s passion and knowledge for the product, combined with his athletic ability, made him a frontrunner to win the reality show competition. However, Clark received the lowest amount of votes compared to Josh and Zz. “My first thought was hopefully I could win a Slammy for Shocker of the Year,” he said. “Second thought was disappointment. I definitely didn’t think I should have been the one going home out of the bottom three, but it is … Continue reading →

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has has vowed to stop watching Tough Enough after last night’s shocking elimination of Patrick Clark, who was considered a favourite to win a contract on the WWE reality show.
During the nomination part of the show this week, Paige nominated Patrick because he was being too cocky. Even though he’s the only one of the guys that is actually a trained wrestler and it was clear he was well ahead of the others when they did the training, he ended up in the bottom three. He’s also the only one that was a huge WWE fan that knows a lot of the company’s history, which is impressive especially because he’s only 19 years old.
When the voting took place to keep Patrick, Zz or Josh, it was Patrick who got the least amount of votes even though...

Complaints about the sound mix on Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar” clearly didn’t have much influence on the members of the Cinema Audio Society, who on Tuesday made the film one of the five nominees for the best feature-film sound mix of 2014.
“Interstellar” joined “American Sniper,” “Birdman,” “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Unbroken” in receiving nominations for the 2014 Cas Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing, which will be presented on Feb. 14 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel.

Nominations have been announced for the 51st annual Cinema Audio Society Awards, and as ever with this group lately, there are a few surprises. For instance, "Unbroken" made the cut despite being mostly ignored by the guilds and industry groups so far, and Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" showed up as well. The biggest jaw-dropper might just be that after months of being the poster child for sound complaints, somehow, some way, "Interstellar" ended up in the mix (no pun intended). There are always one or two that drop out, however. Last year, for example, another Marvel movie — "Iron Man 3" — was chalked up here. But it fell out in favor of "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" with the Academy. I find myself wondering if "The Battle of the Five Armies" could make the cut this year as it's even more of an action/sound film than the last.

Step Up 3
Let me start off this review by saying fairly that the film “Step Up 3″ is definitely not my cup of tea. But I don’t really think the movie is aimed towards myself, but rather people that are interested and participate in the human ritual of rhythmic motion known as dancing.
Here’s the story: Moose (Adam G. Sevani) & his lifelong best friend Camille (Alyson Stoner) have just started school at Nyu. Moose’s parents are saying goodbye & couldn’t be happier that their son has set aside his foolish desire to dance to instead focus on earning his Engineering degree. No sooner do his parents leave him be does Moose stumble onto an impromptu dance-off. Moose injects himself into the contest & his moves catch the eye of Luke (Rick Malambri), an amateur filmmaker & dancer who heads up The House of Pirates, a local dance squad...
