Now the film has made its way to VOD (it’s available on iTunes at This Link), and to help you decide whether or not this is one you’d like to check out, we have the trailer embedded above.
David Hebrero, who has racked up many credits as a cinematographer and a gaffer, directed Everyone Will Burn from a screenplay he wrote with Javier Kiran. The story centers on María José, an outlier in her small Spanish town, who is grieving after her young son’s suicide. As she teeters on the brink of suicide herself, she encounters a mysterious young girl caked in dirt. It is quickly revealed that the girl has telekinetic powers and might be the harbinger of the apocalyptic prophecy that exists within town legend.

Gandia and Arturo, two of the biggest villains on Money Heist, weren’t even in the second half of Season 5, but their negative energy could still be felt as the series came to an end.
Tokyo died taking out Gandia, and hallucinations of Arturo, whom she nearly killed, caused Stockholm to slowly lose her mind and turn to morphine and antipsychotics to make him vacate her psyche. Enrique Arce, who played Arturo on the wildly popular Netflix series known as La Casa de Papel in its native Spain, said being one of the baddies on the drama had its drawbacks.

The end is near for Netflix's smash hit international series Money Heist.
As previously reported, the second half of the fifth -- and final -- season is set to launch around the world on Friday, December 3.
It will be a bittersweet conclusion, for sure, but after years of high-octane drama, it's time to give the surviving members of the team a much-needed rest.
Five episodes remain, and they mark the end of the heist, and after the way the first half of the season concluded, well, it's going to be a tough watch.
"The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours," reads the logline for Season 5.
"They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own."
"The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan."

The rallying cries of the Italian anti-fascist song “Bella ciao” from The Professor’s (Álvaro Morte) gang of endearing city-named criminals will soon no longer be heard from the halls of the Bank of Spain. Álex Pina’s “Money Heist,” also known as “La Casa de Papel,” one of Netflix’s most-streamed Spanish-language shows, will reach its conclusion in two parts by the end of this year.
But while the series will come to an end, “it isn’t the end of the robbery at the Bank of Spain,” executive producer and director Jesús Colmenar said during the Television Critics Assn. press tour panel for the show on Aug. 19.
Colmenar, who was joined by Morte and Úrsula Corberó, discussed the “biggest and most thrilling” season, with Colmenar noting, “We have put the final stops in there.”
One important stop came in the fourth season, when fan-favorite character Nairobi (Alba Flores) was killed off.

Money Heist has one final act planned.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the upcoming fifth season will be the last for the international hit.
What's more, production on the final season will commence Monday in Denmark, before shooting in Spain and Portugal.
The series picks up when a mysterious man known as "The Professor" recruits a group of eight people, who choose cities for code-names, to carry out an ambitious plan that involves entering the Royal Mint of Spain, and escaping with €2.4 billion.
After taking 67 people hostage inside the Mint, the team plans to remain inside for 11 days to print the money as they deal with elite police forces.
In the events succeeding the initial heist, the group are forced out of hiding and find themselves preparing for a second heist, this time on the Bank of Spain, as they again deal with hostages and police forces.

Production has begun on Part 3 of Netflix’s Spanish-language phenomenon Money Heist. Known in Spanish-speaking markets as La Casa De Papel, the series’ third installment will air in 2019. Original creator Alex Pina is returning with some new faces joining the cast. Check them out in the video above as the gang gets back together for a table read.
Fans of the series, who are legion, will notice Pedro Alonso’s Berlin in the footage. Netflix teases that although the character died at the end of the heist in Part 2, this is sure to drive speculation about his actual fate.

Madrid — The third part of “La Casa de Papel” (“Money Heist”), Netflix’s most-watched non-English language show, is entering production and has added new cast. Netflix dropped a first video on Thursday celebrating the occasion.
Produced directly by Netflix and Vancouver Media, the Madrid-based shingle of series creators Alex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato, the third part of “La casa de papel” was originally announced in April. Very little was known then about its plot apart from that “the professor will plan new heists, revealed in 2019,” Netflix said, and that much of the original key cast would return.
“The band is back. This time it will be more than a heist and, with new members, the stakes are raised,” Netflix announced Thursday.
Set to the music of “Bella Ciao,” the new video, however, hints more at Part 3 characters than its events, as Parts I and 2 actors, led by Alvaro Morte...

This Spanish film is the figurative definition of ‘thriller’ (I get told off by my housemate for misuse of literality). Jaime (Fernando Cayo) has just moved to an a beautiful new house with his wife, Marta (Ana Wagener), and daughter, Isa (Manuela Vellés) and already arguments are starting as Isa wants to skip the families first meal together in her new home to meet her boyfriend. None of that matters, however, as the house is broken into that night be three masked men. The leader takes down the card details of each of them and takes Jaime on a drive to get money out while Marta and Isa are left with the other two; one of them a bit crazy and the other very skittish.

As promised in our Event Report from this year's amazing as always Film4 FrightFest film fest in the UK, we're back with a full gallery of photos from the event taken by our man on the scene, Gareth aka Pestilence, along with a quartet of new reviews.
As you're no doubt aware from our past several years of covering the event, FrightFest is nothing if not eclectic, as evidenced by the films that are the subject of these four reviews from Gareth:
The Glass Man
Starring Andy Nyman, James Cosmo, Neve Campbell, Brett Allen
Directed by Cristian Solimeno
Martin Pyrite has lost his job. But instead of telling his wife, he continues his work routine and gets into enormous monetary difficulties. Then late one night a sinister debt collector bangs on his door with an offer – if Martin helps him carry out an important task, he’ll wipe the financial slate clean.

One of the biggest gut punches I’ve had with a film this year comes in the form of Spain’s Kidnapped. I went in thinking I knew what this film was going to be about, and what it would be like. I was wrong, very wrong.
I think one of our deepest fears, is that of violation. Any type of violation, because it leaves us exposed. Kidnapped plays to this fear in the most extreme of ways, if you can’t handle a harsh and hard-hitting film, then leave.
The film begins with an opening scene; we’re not given any context. The only thing we can gather is that whom ever we’re introduced to is going to be in for it.
The real story begins with a regular couple, Jamie (Fernando Cayo) and Marta (Ana Wagener) and their rebellious teenage daughter Isa...

Reviews at Cannes painted Pedro Almodovar's new film, The Skin I Live In, as a muddled but sometimes effective thriller [1]. A new international teaser for the movie has landed, and it certainly hypes up the 'effective' part, even while suggesting the same all over the map tone of which some complained at Cannes. I got a kick out of this teaser because it makes the film look like it has the camp playfulness and style of Mario Bava's wild comic book classic [2] Danger: Diabolik, only filtered through the more intensely psycho-sexual and self-aware viewpoint of Peddro Almodovar. If I saw this without knowing anything else of the film I'd walk away pretty keen to see the film. See what you think, after the break. There are certain movies that, for one reason or another, just make me feel uneasy. Whether it’s the atmosphere, the tone, the people behind it, or the subject matter, they’re the kind of films that one could reasonably call “creepy.” I have yet to see Pedro Almodovar‘s The Skin I Live In, but everything we’ve seen from it so far – from a teaser to some stills – makes me think that it will be one of those films, and for some of the reasons mentioned above. Based on the novel Tarantula by Thierry Jonquet, the movie tells the story of “a plastic surgeon carrying out a vendetta on the man who raped his daughter.”
A new trailer has shown up at Twitch, and it isn’t making me feel any better. There’s something about this that comes off as wrong, but in a good way — maybe...

Now in limited theaters and on VOD from IFC Films is Miguel Angel Vivas' (interview) awesome Spanish-language home invasion horror flick Kidnapped. Trying to keep the hype flowing, Apple scored the below exclusive clip that's a bit soft in comparison to the violence in the flick. Set on the outskirts of Madrid, ‘Kidnapped”s narrative is fairly pedestrian and familiar, and predicated on an audience’s enjoyment of the picture’s propulsive momentum as much as anything else. After a discrete opening segment which finds a bloodied man with a bag over his head stumbling...
