Card is the only author to receive both the Hugo Award and the Nebula
Award for Best Novel in consecutive years, for "Ender's Game" and its sequel, "Speaker for the Dead," in 1986 and 1987.
Card's children are: Geoffrey, Emily, Charles, Zina Margaret and Erin
Louisa (named after Chaucer, Bronte and Dickinson, Dickens, Mitchell,
and Alcott, respectively).
Card's grandfather, Lester Park, produced "Corianton", the first
full-length feature film based on the Book of Mormon, in the early
1930s.
