- Hans-Jürgen Bäumler was born on January 28, 1942 in Dachau, Bavaria, Germany. He is an actor, known for Almenrausch und Pulverschnee (1993), Das Paradies der flotten Sünder (1968) and Salto mortale (1969).

- One of Germany's most successful figure skaters. In 1957, he teamed up with Marika Kilius.

- Started a singing career in the 1960s. Although he also performed as a solo artist, his most successful song "Honeymoon in St.Tropez" was a duet with Marika Kilius.
- World Champion in 1963 and 1964, Olympic silver medalist in 1960 and 1964 (pairs' competition). They were stripped of the 1964 silver medal being alleged to have signed a professional skating contract, but finally rehabilitated by the IOC in 1987.
